Adzke, lets keep our talk in here, we're going way off-topic in there.

Tell me, why is Danish so weird? I mean I bet you guys can understand us perfectly, but let me tell you understanding you guys is a struggle :p Written is a lot easier to understand.

    Good idea.

Well, Danish is supposted to be on of the hardest languages to learn because of the sounds and variations between similar letters.

I understand Norwegian pretty good, but I have a hard time understanding Swedish. But as you write it's alot easier when it comes to writing.

Strange how Scandinavian languages work, because to us it's a lot easier to understand Norwegian than Danish  Supposedly, the original langauge (well closest to it) of this region is spoken in Iceland, don't know if that's a fact.

I think it's right. Just think about it. Iceland was invaded by Scandinavian settlers, and the island is almost isolated from the rest of the world. There are no interruptions from outside, so I guess it fits the bill.

Also, they have some of the same letters that once were Scandinavian letters, but aren't used anymore.

Yep, makes a lot of sense :agree: And thank God for it, because those letters are insane :p

Not trying to be biased, but I think Swedish is the "neutral" language of all the Nordic languages. We might use different words at times and we might have our own expressions or what not, but in the end it's the most understandable accent out of them all. That's just what I think...you could say I'm biased :p

I was just about to write the same thing about Danish :D

It doesn't have the accent that Norwegian and Swedish has. Besides, I speak it everyday, so how hard can it be? :eyebrows:

Dude, I was listening to interviews of Danish players after the scandal and let me tell you, it was difficult understanding the guy :p Funny thing was I could understand the Danish players alot better than some of the older guys they were interviewing. In fact they gave the older men subtitles.

If the old guys where Jim Stjerne and the other guy, I understand why. I can hardly understand those guys. :D

Peter Bonde :) he is our assistant manager. He used to be manager for the ladies' NT :eyebrows:

Just imagine: Can sink any lower than assigning the ladies' manager as assistant?

It was better back when Michael Laudrup was there.
lol. What happened to Martin Olsen?

No! Luckely! I don't think he will ever coach the NT. But we might soon have a critical situation if we don't go to the EC either.
If that happens then you can always use that Dane as a scapegoat :p

btw, I still remember Euro 1992 when Sweden missed out on the chance to play you guys in the final
