Reggae is one of the few music genres I simply don't like. Usually I can find something good in every genre, but with Reggae I was always even-hearted. There's too little versatility in it and it all seems quite repetative, like the same old beats over and over again.

I realize that this's an old post.

You might find reggae repetitive, with just few chords, chokes played and as steady beat, but if you get more into reggae you'll find that it's a wonderful genre of music.
Have you ever focused on the bass in reggae songs? The bass in reggae is one of the most beautiful things to listen to. Look at this one
