I say try Boumsong as a defensive midfielder or fullback. He has the technique and strength for it.
Not a bad idea, IMO. We're lacking players in midfield, and he does contribute well (IMO) offensively at times. Can't be any more of a disaster than CB, right? :pumpkin:

What's scary is that I see moments of competence in him. I've seen complete games where he has handled his position well under critical circumstances (e.g., vs. Bologna just a few days ago). And then he reverts to his bad habits of fumbling the most basic ball skills, exhibiting signs of a brain aneurysm on blown coverage, etc. It's maddening.

He might not be a very good footballer, but as a Juventus player he still deserves some respect. His attitude has after all been good, and he sacrificed Premier League football for Serie B.

He doesn't deserve being a starter CB though, that's for sure. Still a decent squad player.

the guy sucks....... hopefully tudor can return soon. him and kovac should play well together. i dont see the reason to play him in our midfield. i'd rather see paro and zanetti who have played very well together this season there.

One of the problems that Boumsong has is that he is slow. Both on the movements and mentally.
Many times during the game you see him wondering around not really knowing if he is in a football field or at his uncles backyard BBQing. Then suddenly he realise ooooh there is a ball coming, mentally he is still trying to analyse what a ball is. Is it an edable object or is part of a firework show.
