Seriously though, not only do I think Boumsong is rubbish, I also have the prejudice against him since he use to play for Rangers. I have never hated a Juve player more then him.

Did you guys watch all the games last season? Sure, Boumsong made a few mistakes, but despite those he put in a string of very decent performances. I definitely think he's worth at least 3 or 4 million euros. He does have qualities, believe it or not.

We paid 5m euros for him last year I think, and he has been better for us than he was at Newcastle, so we should be able to get a minimum of 3m for him, like you say.

i have seen most of the serie B games , i might have missed 2 or 3 at the most .
he makes a lot of mistakes , its unbelievable , not to mention he is extremely reckless and he's one of these players that can just make you lose the game by giving away a stupid penalty .

maybe a season in the bench wont hurt , but selling isnt a bad idea either

He will generally make at least one mistake per game and is is then merely a question of whether he will get away with it.

The mistakes he makes, usually caused by a lack of concentration, are mistakes I might forgive if they were made by a young player, but Boumsong is in his prime and is unlikely to improve.

Unless a good enough offer comes in I say let him stay. We need a big squad in case of injuries. He will make mistakes, absolutely, but he won't make as many mistakes as Legrottaglie. For one more year, I hope Boumsong stays a bianconero. After that, we can put him on a New Holland tractor and wave him goodbye

Grygera, Zebina and Criscito are all potential CB partners too.

I will be surprised if we don't sign another CB, probably Cannavaro or Barzagli.
