I really like Boumsong as a person and football player. Maybe his playing abilities aren't so great ,but he accepted to play a season in second league with us without hesitation ,had his best and worst times on the pitch ,even scored some decisive goals. By my personal opinion he showed great respect for the club and jersey that he whore all season long. So we should treat him with little more respect, he's still a Juventus player after all.

95% of all football players in the world wouldn't hesitate to join Juve not even in B. He took the chance to play with a grand club. He already had difficulties in Brittain and he has to admit the standard for a Juve player was too high for him.
He was not bad but we expect more and tomorrow in serie A the fans will expect even more.

So , the ones who left are the remaining 5% , by your logic.

Juve always brought the best out of players, maybe he deserves more time to develop and become good, but all depends does the coach believe in him and find him useful for next season.

What I mean is that if you ask a player if he wants to play for Juve 95% will say yes. You seem to forget how big this club is and what name it has all over the world. Their are other big teams as well and they can probably say the same. You think you ask any player of let's say Anderlecht that he doesn't want to play for us. Get real.

Get rid of him! He is a liability (what was the game last season where he was personally culpable for blowing a two goal lead!?) and with the Tinkerman in charge the squad certainly has no room for liabilities even if his heart is in the right place..

Thanks (ish) for playing in B Boumsong but Au Revoir!

Boumsong doesn't fear Milito
Sunday 1 July, 2007

Jean-Alain Boumsong insists he’s staying at Juventus even if Gabriel Milito pushes him out of the line-up.

The Bianconeri are said to be very close to signing the Real Zaragoza defender and the first player likely to be forced to step aside is Boumsong.

“Milito could well arrive and he may not be the only one,” conceded the former Newcastle United man in ‘L’Equipe.’

“In any case, I shall remain in Turin. I have absolutely no intention of leaving Juventus.”

Boumsong has had a fractious relationship with the Juve fans after some disappointing performances in Serie B.

New Coach Claudio Ranieri has already publicly stated he wants a new central defender who can be “a leader.”

Does the 28-year-old Frenchman believe the stories that Didier Deschamps was the only one to want him at the Stadio Olimpico?

“That is absolutely false!” exclaimed Boumsong, who has been linked with a move to Bordeaux.

Boumsong Ready To Stay On

The French defender revealed to L'Equipe his intention of remaining with Juventus despite the competition he will find in his role next season.

With the Bianconeri linked to various important central defenders, it must not be easy for Jean-Alain Boumsong knowing that there is not too much trust around him.

However, the French international vowed that he will fight on to prove his worth, despite a disappointing first season with the Old Lady in Serie B.

"Milito can come, after all he might not be the only one to arrive," declared the former Newcastle United player.

"In any case, I will remain in Turin as I have no intention of leaving."

Juventus are currently linked to three central defenders: Real Zaragoza's Gabriel Milito, Porto's Pepe and Palermo's Andrea Barzagli.

According to the latest transfer speculation, the Bianconeri will surely land one of these players, and possibly even two of them.

Legro over Boum any day for me.Boum is a disaster and at any time may pop and cost you the game.
Well one could argue the same for Legro.

Although tbh Legro sometimes gives that assurance in the back, sadly sometimes thats fake.

Boumsong proved he is a better player than ppl give him credit for last season, we only remember the times he made mistakes but forget all the games he was the best defender on the field.
