Lippi proved he knew what he was doing when he took Iaquinta. Don't worry, this is Lippi he'll know how to use Del Piero to convert some beauties later on... if all goes well with defense... like this match... then everything will be fine. We need some patience, for now points are great.

Lippi just gets it all right.Team plays well doesnt concede and i think they played against an impressive ghana side.

Pirlo played very well and imposed himself on the game very well.Totti didnt have the best of games and got out injured.
Nesta and Canna prove they r the best pair in the world as they were solid as u would get.
Toni was good but Gila was very disappointing and was very impressed by perrota and Iaquinta's speed
I understand why DP stayed on the bench for a while as it was a very physical and fast game and i dont think alex would've done well in the game even if he was in for a longer time.

but good win for the azzuri

I would have felt sorry for Kuffour had he not tryed to break Iaquinta's ankle five minutes earlier.
I was thinking the same thing. Kuffour now knows that revenge is a bitch.

Kuffour lost all my respect by this assassin tackle. He should've been expelled and banned for the next two matches

Forgive him mate, the poor guy has been plagued by the 1999 nightmare when he played against Manchester United :eyebrows:

lippi has done well with the NT after a somewhat shaky start in the form of that defeat against iceland.im just wondering, losing on a penlaty shootout does not go down as a loss in the book does it?its considred a draw as far as the stats are considered, right?
