dude, i enjoy carefully thought out music, by talented musicians, that pushes the envelope as much as the next guy, probably a lot more than the next guy. however, you cannot disregard the importance of context when listening to music. if i am drunk, having a good time at a club, i wanna listen to the black eye peas, as annoying as they might be any other time.

y'know what fuck it, lock it up and forget about it, i was just trying to do something nice by sharing music with eachother but if you are all determined to behave like this about something i thought would be fun/interesting i cannot be bothered.
There is nothing wrong in sharing music, I do it all the time but what is wrong is your method of delivery.

Couldn't we have just used this thread to discuss why we think certain musicians or bands are good or not? Instead of getting all upset and pretending to be mad at Jasper?

Excellent choice, I stopped listening to them shortly after hybrid theory so I haven't heard any of the new music but I really liked their style for a period
it's been downhill since they sold out and went the Transformers route.

it annoyed the hell out of my when all their subsequent album were remixes
I hate those remixes. I avoid all those.

I think they are great. Both Hybrid Theory and Meteora albums were amazing while the third one wasn't my taste. They are making a new one and I think it's going to rock. Mike and Chester are really amazing.

Anywho I think Kesha (usually spelled with the $ instead of the s) is the best thing to happen to pop music since the Beatles.

When asked about the lack of lyrical content in her songs by a reporter, she replied with "It's a pop song, not fucking rocket science".

What you think, please discuss.
