In recent years i have grown more and more tired with the 'Music Industry'. We live in an age where to find good music you have to actively seek it out, regardless of genre. Popular music is now homogenized formulaic mediocre suicide worthy shit. I will be embarased when my kids grow up and they want to get into retro music and they look back on the late 90s and the 00s and see what my generation has produced. .

So i figured why not have a thread where we can share good music with eachother, regardless of gerne. Music that has tallent, meaning, hardworkship etc. etc. going into it. Youtube links, names, torrent links etc, etc. I will start with 5 examples of modern music that has something behind it.

(they wrote and recorded that when they were 17:eyebrows: )

And heres some Retro that i love

If this goes down well a sticky would be nice, music is so important that we need to keep the real, from the heart music, going and popular!

Share and enjoy!

"good music"...that's kind of subjective ain't it?
I said regardless of genre but music that was made with tallent and meaning. Sure its subjective, but is not all musical opinion. When i say tallented i mean playing an instruments & writing songs and doing something different.

Osman i just noticed your user title, 'Boss Nigger' is a fucking brilliant blaxploitation film, we had it screened in alt cinema last year. Apparently it was one of QT's favourate films and influences for Pulp Fiction.

Yes, earlier today, I read someone saying he is a huge Limbizkit fan, bought all their records, sounded like only thing one listened to.

If someone thinks they are actually quality, then yeah I'm puzzled :D And have to succumb to the magic word that is subjective.

(Bill Hicks sums up my sentiments in this video).
