Well...reason I asked is because about a month ago these group of guys did this charity event on FIFA 12 to raise money for breast cancer treatment. They ran these online 11v11 games (broadcast online). It seemed like they were all online because they had mics and were talking about being in different time zones and shit.

It's possible to do, but it's really difficult because everyone has to be on the same page tactically. You can't go Freelancing.

Gabe, you should just add the league stuff, (picks, teams, rules, etc) to the first post for now. Then add the leader board later.

Downside is that I think you're forced to use your own virtual pro.

I added it earlier today, I was thinking we could create the league within the game's custom match mode, or do you think its better manually? As in generating the brackets and keeping track of results,goals,cards manually?

Agree and I think no one would like to play say Cb or Dm for example.

I think manually, so it's easier to keep track of. Like assign a couple matches a week and have the players responsible for getting together. You can just say who we play each week, each player with have to play two other players.

They post the results here in the thread and you copy and paste to the 1st post and add to the leader board. We can all keep track of the results. At the end of whatever is determined as the season, the top four teams participate in a Cup Challenge. Two leg semi finals and a single match final.

I like it, that way we could deal with things like disconnects on a sensible way and not have the game assigning 3-0 losses.

We don't really need a bracket. Just a schedule where we play each other 2 or 3 times.

As for disconnects I think we should agree that any disconnect before the 70th minute should be replayed unless there is a 4 goal difference.

No, that seems overkill. But if enough of us think we should count cards we can consider it.
