Everybody else is either not good enough or not better than Deschamps in my opinion. If worse comes to worse though I suppose Novellino would come next. Not sure about Guidolin but honestly he doesn't seem that promising.

Actually, Arsenal plays great football and I love how Wenger can really turn youth starlets into full stars. Liverpool does indeed play like a typical english side and while I really can't stand watching them kill games like that, there is no question Benitez is an incredible manager. In the case of Chelsea they play extremely fast but the team is not set up like most other English sides. Place these managers in different leagues with different styles of play and any English they once had in their mentality... if any at all... will brush off with ease. That's the difference.

And to be honest, those clubs aren't even English... they just play in the EPL.

Blanc gave Didier no reassurances whatsoever and if all these things are true Deschamps holds the right to express doubt to the media. But in no way is he the victim in this situation. The minute he started going public, that IMO, meant he wanted things his way or he was gone. Now he's gone.

I think that is because DD knew Secco & Co. weren't going to like DD's terms of staying. DD wants more control of this team & a strong commitment from management. On the flip side, Secco & Co. doesn't feel confident in a coach who doesn't see eye-to-eye with them & isn't afraid to bash what they believe is the right direction in newspapers & media.

It's been on shakey ground for several weeks & now it seems all but over & done with. I honestly didn't think it would end THIS soon, but I expected next season they base would crumble underneath DD's feet. All the fans were blaming DD because of not playing Bojinov although he was not interested in him since he came. He was bought by Secco and the idiots around him in a funny deal that you know its details.

I will loose all my respect for Lippi if he comes back.

Didi has been Lippi's protege, and surely they must have some personal respect for each other considering what they achieved together as a captain and manager. Lippi may not have forced Didi's hand directly, but as a mark of respect, I think the great man should not take Deschamp's place. I am disgusted by the treatment DD received in his brief spell: Guys like Blanc, Secco have no right whatsoever to fire a guy who lead the most successful era of Juve history, whilst they were running their local groceries or preparing for University Entrance exam.

I don't think it is done deal that we got Lippi. I have a hard time imagining a great person such as Lippi undermining his former pupil's position, and his only professional adventure that has yet to been fulfilled is a success in other countries. Lippi has done everything he could in an Italian game, so why would he come back? I will give all my support if he do indeed takeover, (though I will loose personal respect), but we shouldn't take Lippi's return as granted. And what if we end up with, Novellino, Crap, Guidolin, Vialli as our next manager? Secco & Blanc should then look for their next jobs, because they won't be staying in Juve for long. Unless we get Benitez, Prandelli, Spalletti, Mourinho, or Lippi, I think we might have a long season next year.

IMHO it is all too shady to take lucky guesses.
DD might be heading to Lyon, since he will be playing CL next year, and has a 99% chance to be champion of France. He is a hard fit for juventus anyhow, now it is not the time for him... perhaps in a few years, but definitely not now.
All the guys claiming he is a legend are a little bit too full of it. DD coach us through seria B with half the team of Seria A, bench full of Seria A players and some nationals. This is FAR from heroic. It is not one of those American movies, where they gather dentists and old mechanics and win the league. These are GREAT players he got. He literally 'shitted’ over one of our talents, (Bojinov) which regardless of his personal attitude is a good prospect. Now going directly to the press with internal information (I as a fan love that, but not from 'our' kitchen) was a disaster at least. After all he is not that proved so we can handle him the 70 mln. Euros and that is A FACT. He needed supervisor at least.
Next topic is more important.
With all this bitching of true juventini around, saying that Lippi is not 'juicy' enough to recover DD eventual loss - it is possible that these rumors influence his eventual arrival. Now would we be happy then?
I am not sorry for DD and honestly I would believe he was not part of this joke if he is unemployed next season. Seeing him at Lyon(I believe this) would just prove that he was as much 'juventino' as all the geeks claiming Lippi in the same page with DD.
