DD has proven himself yet again to be an honourable man, I may question his coaching ability, but you can't fault him for sticking to his beliefs and standing up to the management.

can't say i blame Deschamps for quiting, the management have shown their contempt for him on numerous occasions. all we can hope for is that the ass-clowns in charge have a plan.

sure it looks like lippi will be the obvious replacement, i am sure many of the members will be delighted with this. i would prefer if we went for prandelli(or the special one) but i will not grumble if lippi steps back into the breach

I know its crappy news site, but :

It's Deschamps or Secco at Juventus
tribalfooball.com - May 25, 2007

The future of Didier Deschamps at Juventus hinges on the director Alessio Secco.

The pair do not see eye-to-eye and Gazzetta dello Sport says Deschamps made it clear to Juve general manager Jean-Claude Blanc in a meeting on Wednesday that he was reluctant to carry on working side-by-side with the sports chief.

Blanc proposed a new contract to Deschamps during the summit - worth an extra £70,000 in salary - but the coach insisted his future at Juve didn't depend on money, but the tense environment he's working in.

The final decision on Deschamps will be left to Blanc and president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli. Should Secco be moved sideways, Juve will attempt to bring Real Madrid director Franco Baldini back to Italy to take charge of football affairs.

However, if they decide they cannot go forward with Deschamps, Sampdoria coach Walter Novellino is favourite to succeed the Frenchman for Juve's Serie A return.
Someone will leave for sure , but who ?

If he is sacked now, I don't know how I'll cheer for such club...
I didn't read this article TBH, but elsewhere I read he resigned. That's something entirely different. Though I must say, that if he were sacked as you say, I'd be tempted to agree with you.

Have to examine how he resigned though. All indications lead me to believe he was forced out by Secco and company.

Perhaps, but the only thing we could know for sure is that he resigned. As far as I can tell it has nothing to do with our transfer campaign, which is good I guess. But I'm a big fan of stability in football clubs and Deschamps was doing a good job.

Bringing in a new coach would be very tricky at this point. Bringing back Capello as suggest, though I don't believe it's a possibility, could lead to a true exodus and other coaches will have to start all over again.

You guys are strange.....all the season you arguing how bad he is and now standing with him...am with Secco and co for replacing him with Lippi, we can't relay in him for critical periode like the one we have, we can't handle any fault of not qualifing to CL. Beside, where is the hell the critics that are full in this forum on him...

I never called Deschamps a bad coach and I always wanted him to stay.

And you know what? This might be a bit sentimental, but I don't want to see Lippi going down in this mess. The man's a legend as it is, no need to tarnish his image now.

Image ending 8th under Lippi.
Hope that won't happen!!! But even if it does we know the job is in good hands and we will bounce back...I dont think many ppl in the Juve orgnasiation and this forum truly believe that they can/could trust DD to bring us back to the top in Serie A
