im so upset by the way that DD has been undermimed and disrespected over the last few weeks, this is not what juventus is about, i'm in shock at his treatment, i hope he returns in the future and i hope we get rid of these bastards that are running our club
what pisses me off most is how didi rescued juve and did what was required, and prob more with developing new talents, and then didi - a true juventino gets screwed over my amateur f*ckers who should just f*ck off! i dont think that even the hiring of lippi will impress the fans the way they treated didi, a true juventino always sticks together. and i shall always stick by didi, to me he was defo the best thing that has happened to juve in 2/3 yrs i felt like he liberated juve wen he joined us, and now the club ive so dearly served is prob at its most instable moment for as long as i can ever remember

Didier Deschamps told journalists he has resigned as Coach of Juventus and the latest reports place Marcello Lippi back on the bench!

There was immense confusion over the tactician’s future after Sky TG24 announced after midnight that Deschamps had tended his resignation in protest at contract talks and differing transfer policy.

Although the club released a statement this afternoon denying that was the case, all the comments since then have suggested their rapport has come to an end.

Deschamps left the Stadio Olimpico following today’s 2-0 win over Mantova without entering the Press room, but Sky Italia journalists say he told them he had quit.

“There has been no precise message from the Coach, we only saw the news in the papers,” said Juventus director Jean Claude Blanc.

“We had a discussion and we must clarify it. The dialogue with him has always been good and we will talk again to clarify our positions.

“Juve only comment on official news and this is not in that category. We continue the dialogue with Deschamps to plan the future, with or without him.”

The Bianconeri have earned promotion and today mathematically secured the Serie B title, but disagreements with director of sport Alessio Secco over new signings seem to be the key.

“We have not discussed any contractual figures with him,” continued Blanc. “There is a path for Juventus and its employees must follow that. Who is with Juve must respect that common goal and we have discussed that with the Coach and most important players.”

The latest reports suggest that World Cup winner Lippi will return to Turin next season after his one-year sabbatical.

It would be the third spell on this bench, as he was in charge of Juventus from 1994-99 and again from 2001-04.

“Lippi? For the moment we are only focused on resolving the issue at hand, then we will see,” added Blanc.

The Spanish media had said this week that Fabio Capello was earmarked for a return – an option that was today fiercely contested by the fans at the Stadio Olimpico.

Instead the Italian papers suggest it is another Fabio who is coming back from Real Madrid to Juventus – Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro

exactly mate hes had a hard challenge and hes done the best he could, ok ive been very critical of him and harsh towards him but sometimes thats just my way of venting frustration i do have respect for the man deep down. i dont agree about the best thing for years but i do agree that he is someone that deserves a lot better than he has been given. our top management disgusts me, secco is a fucking whore and blanc is a disattached piece of shit with no respect for what people have sacrificed.

i will always consider DD a hero, the one man that stepped up to the plate when everyone else was too scared, a true man, a true warrior and a true juventino.

If I were Didier and I left the club in that shameful way, I wouldn't think about returning back to Juve's bench once again except if there are some strict conditions in suitable circumstances.

I'm very sorry for a loyal decent Juventino to leave his beloved lady in such a melodramatic moment with no any gratefulness to what he did to treat her at that old age.

Bye Bye Deschamps.

I second that. I can't believe that the board is doing this to DD. We are betraying to the coach who accepted to take us back where we belong.

I'm disappointed in our board...it's stupid that they refused to listen to DD's opinion on transfers if that's the reason behind his resignation, and it's dirty politics if they deliberately got into this position because Lippi had been lined up beforehand. No one could deny that some of our performances this season were bad, but we had some great ones too, and DD accomplished what he set out to do. Maybe he wasn't the right man for Serie A, maybe he was. But either way, the board hasn't been transparent about his position at all, and in the long run that will hurt the club.

Respect to you, DD, and best of luck whatever happens next.

if Lippi 100% sure comes back, i won't mind losing DD.
But if the board brings other coach...NOPE
True!
As I was pointing out many times up to now ,DD is not a caliber for a giant club as our beloved Juve.
I do not feel sorry for him.
I will be more than happy if Lippi is back and get life contract.
He is something like Ferguson for M.United.
I hope for Lippi,much.:)

This may sound silly, but I wish we could somehow let DD know just how grateful we are.. A letter or something..

I can't begin to explain just how disapointed I am. I feel as if this club lost it's soul, this is such a undescribeable betrayal.
