All in all he's better than Robert Kovac IMO, so I don't understand all the crap he gets here. Sure, I'd prefer we signed Carvalho but for this amount we payed we got a solid all-around defender.

He doesn't have to be better than Stendardo, although that won't be hard. At least he doesn't cost freaking 10 mil. €
