Diego also hit the post... we had more than two chances.

Not that it matters. Not nearly enough movement up front... amongst many other problems.

yes there was a chance where Candreva balloned outside the box and that DP "penalty" while one of them is not really a chance put those two aside and we created nothing

The Candreva shot is a chance, but not a clear cut one. aside from that, we succeeded in creating no real chances.
Diego hit the post one time, one time the goalkeeper caught a direct shot by Diego, Del Piero hit it one time and again Lazio keeper caught it, Candreva shot twice towards the goal, Melo's header after Diegos freekick, and i dont know how many times Lazio's defense tackled to cut off our players passes. The fact is that Lazio's defenders were very motivated last night and also the keeper was very good. So you cant say that we didnt have chances. Not all chances have to be 100% chances. The fact remains that only one team played last night and that is Juventus. Lazio had only 2 shots the whole game of which one went in. It is totally unfair for anyone to say anything bad about last night's game......

Diego hit the post from a tough position shooting on goal is not necessarily a chance as we could shoot the whole game without really making a point

DP almost got a chance but he fell and the ref gave us a penalty

We had no chances that really could have become a goal except Candreva when he got the ball outside of the box as a rebound and instead of getting on the scoresheet he blasted over

Agreed with Orgut here, most of our chances were shots from the distance ,we didn't have a good counter attack, we simply couldn't pass through the Lazio defense ,Del Piero and Diego (Sissoko 2 times) tried to pull the ball through by some short passes but didn't succeed.
And than we have scored from the totally non existing penalty.

Relentlessly

The day after the match vs. Lazio, Juventus went immediately back to work, to start preparing the challenge vs. Livorno, scheduled for next Saturday at 8.45 p.m. at Armando Picchi Stadium.

The entire group had warming up together on the pitch, then the players who played yesterday evening against the biancocelesti, went back to the gym, while the rest of the team continued working on athletic part, before doing some technical exercises.

Diego and Felipe Melo stayed in the gym for the whole session. Good news for the latter, forced to go out of the pitch during second half of yesterday match, for a muscular discomfort: it’s about a simple fatigue to his right adductor.

One point after a game which we should have one. These are two of our curses: injuries and conceding.

The two, in my opinion, aren't unrelated.

The injuries cause us to play players who aren't fully fit a lot of the time, so they are more tired than they should be come the last twenty minutes or so, so the chances of conceding goals late in games is increased.

Doesn't it make more sense to say "the two, in my opinion, are related".

It sounds like a double negative (though I know it isn't):snoop:

I love you red. And to make this post that much sweeter I agree with your post. :heart2:
