i heard that the next James Bond might be black, Cuba Gooding jr was one of the nominees.

i don't think that would be very good, as that would be completely out of sync with the other movies, and it would break the characters credibility. kina like casting a white Shaft...

    But Welshman
Doesn't seem to make a difference - Dalton has already been James Bond!

I have yet to see a Bond that does a better job than Roger Moore though... can't picture any of these guys (certainly not Grant) as the next Bond!

Johnny Lee Miller - style, good looks (can't have a butt-ugly Bond, now can we?) and he's british. Perhaps a bit young but Brosnan is doing fine for now anyway ;)

And I have to add that I disagree with all the people who think Orlando Bloom is unsuitable for the job! I think he'd doo good!

And he, apparently, does his own stunts :D:

What??? Have you seen Moore, Connery and Dalton... not exactly supermodels eh?

Especially Moore and Dalton... there's nothing special about them. So I still believe that C. Owen could do it.

But hey... don't listen to me... I'm still hung over from New Years eve... :D

Not bad, but not now - maybe in at least 10 years - too young.
Or maybe they will decide to make Bond very young again ;)

Don't mind a young Bond though... At least they don't retire after two movies! :D ;)

Well no but at least they had class...one of the two is essential - rather both imo! It's BOND we're talking about!
    Plus ... I did say BUTT-ugly ;) :D

I'll keep that in mind ;)

Erik... Owen has class. He can pull it off. Just watch him the BMW short films. They are so cool! http://www.bmwfilms.com

He's already driving the car, why not go all the way?

One more thing... most of the guys you all are posting are to young and wimpy

    You have a point ...

As for young and wimpy - Brosnan is still here and he probably ain't leaving soon so your guy might already be drooling over his geraniums in the old folks house by the time the job becomes available...
