It's amazing how after just one game, a player dubbed by all Juve fans as a complete flop is now in the future plans of our team.

With Ranieri in charge, a 4-3-2-1 seems unlikely but it does look far more attractive. In fact, I think we should play it now.
I never said Poulsen is a flop, I actually don't like this word.

Also, you can ask around and you'd know my opinion about the Dane.

I wasn't implying you in particular, in general, people here had a pretty bad attitude towards Poulsen and after the Roma game, suddenly he's a fan favourite. It's not that I have a problem with Poulsen, I actually think he's quite good, I have a problem with people who judge players based on a couple of performances and then quickly change their minds after one game.

Then why did you quote me to express this opinion?

We actually have been playing with this formation a lot more this season. Alex, Gio even neddy all played behind the strikers in the formation. The last game was the Chelsea game.

Not all juve fans dubbed him as a flop, in fact it seems it's the media, namely goal.com that has reported his flop so often.

I always said he look composed, consistent and solid with a good range of passing. He had 1-2 bad games to my memory the rest was ok and good. Certainly no Xabi alonso though.

He ain't gonna win us games, but he will help us to not lose them.

Reports: Juve agree Cassano deal

Wednesday 25 March, 2009

Juventus have agreed a part-exchange deal with Sampdoria for Antonio Cassano, according to Italian Press reports.

The Old Lady have admitted that they are tracking the fiery former Real Madrid hitman.

While Doria are determined to keep hold of their prized asset, it seems that the wheels may be in motion for a move.

According to Tuttosport, a recent meeting between Juve patron John Elkann and Samp chief Riccardo Garrone saw positive steps forward.

The Turin-based paper claims that Juve will send midfield flop Sergio Almiron to Marassi as part of a big-money deal.

It had been suggested that starlet Sebastian Giovinco could be used as a bargaining chip, but it seems that the Bianconeri have ruled out his departure.

As a result, the fee could be sizeable with some sources predicting a figure around the £15m mark.
