I read somewhere that capello has said to one of Italian magazines (Family Magazine) that cassano will be juventus player until January.

10 days left for Cassano, Roma & Juventus to decice his future.

If he come :

Del Piero, Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet, Mutu & Cassano.

We should sell Zalayeta, I think.

Ok.
I’ll only go thru this once more…
The key to win titles is to have harmony and competition inside a squad!
It seems like everyone just talks about players like the mental aspect doesn’t involve???

Remember were you read it! Chelsea wont win easily this year. They will have to many unsatisfied players in the team.

Why is it that Inter never succeed?
The players? NO! It’s how the TEAM works.

Very true, a team has to be stable, but competitive...which is what i believe we currently are in the most.

PLayers like nedved need cover, which will probably put them at ease, but players like trez and dp dont need another forward to come in and put them off.

Surely I'd rather keep Zalayeta as opposed to Del Piero and Miccoli. Zalayeta is Trez's natural sub while DP and Miccoli are about the same type.

I dont think Cassano will put them off. We'll get the best out of him, and it wont be another Roma'esque scenario. Everybody here aligns themselves to the system, you dont have any other choice when you see the trophy room.

PS: Change that avatar to Sachin Tendulkar already. (As much as i love Akram, you got to stay with the still playing legend. :p:D

Yes, but it would be unfair to Zala if he has categorically asked to be sold. He deserves more playing time than he gets, hes better than his position at Juve makes him out to be.

Well looking at it from that perspective then yes he does deserve more playing time and more value in a team.

But seeing that I am a heartless Juve Fan, I'll just support what's best for the Team, not the player. :D

Its said we will get the best out of him, which in all honesty is a risk. But as us say, merely joining juve is a kick in the arse.

Tendulkar :)dontcare:).......if i want a legendary batsmen batsmen that still plays, Gilchrist Thorpe(just) and Lara get the nod.

The legend stays

he's a big softy, i have tennis elbow, i still play, i still throw from deep.

All he needs to do is wear the correct strapping and exercise it correctly and it should be fine....but he is the Beckham of cricket :groan:

Del Piero in all likelihood will be sold to Milan imo. Corriere Dello Sport are now reporting that Milan are ready to bid for Cassano to come in January if Moggi doesnt close the deal with Roma by the 31st of this month. The deal remains the same as previously discussed: cash + Chiellini + Miccoli/Mutu. With two players being inserted into that deal, a sale may just cordone of the requirements of the cash involved, and I would see no sense in selling Del Piero to raise cash and trading Mutu in the deal. Other emanating reports say Miccoli is close to a Benfica move. Seems like that sale will raise cash, in addition to a Dp sale. Which then might just be an all cash deal for Cassano. Who knows? But I just hope Mutu is nowhere on the trade lines.
Im dont believe that Juve directors will sell Delpiero to Milan, at least not this season. IMO,from Moggi point of view, If a forward leave (apart from Miccoli), it would be Mutu. And i frankly prefer to have Mutu than Cassano because Cassano prescence will make Capello change radically the style of playing, trying to adjust it to a playmaker like Antonio. And that would be very risky, right now...We really are done now, we need to play this season with the team we have now....

Oh common John, Tendulkar is way better than Thorpe(also retired now) and Gilchrist. I'll say Lara is right up there in terms of talent with the master blaster, but the statistics show whose enjoyed more consistency.

The Beckham of cricket would actually make him seem more style than substance. It is quite frankly the other way around. He's all game, no show. So why wont the ad whizzes cash in on his brilliance? Yea, but I think its more than his tennis elbow hes recuperating from, given that fielding could cause him issues, and his back isnt in the best shape either.

Fact remains, Tendulkar on his day is untouchable, and that even includes competition from Brian Lara.

PS: Axl, we praising him more than the gods isnt really the case anymore. I think with such a good batting line up we can actually live without Tendulkar, and there is a gradual acceptance of the fact that he will retire sooner or later, and it wont hurt as much as it would've maybe 4-5 years ago. But as of now, we're way off form, I think Chappell will have done a tremendous job by the time the World cup comes around.
