i have watched cassano many a time, and he is not a playmaker...u may WANT him to be able to play there, like we all WANTED Dp to play there. But so far the only evidence that we have seen that Cassano is a playmaker is from u claiming he is.

Rooney, adu, robinho...to me they keep turning up.

PLayers like zidane, totti zlatan maybe....but midget sized dribbling forwards..there are always a plethora of them.

i have to agree with cassano not being a natural playmaker.
but given his style of play,he could play in that position.
he is extremley craftsy with the ball at his feet,so he could fill the shoes of a playmaker.

but if he does join juventus,capello will probably play the forward line as follows :

del piero wud probably be offloaded if cassano comes.
mutu might be rotated with cassano.

also...look at Barca example.....they had before Requlme....which i consider him as one of the best playmakers.....then they bought Ronaldinho....which replaces him and add the quality missed from them....it's same when u talk about Mutu and Cassano.

Simply loaning Mutu is not so simple as you claim. What if Cassano does not perform well in the team, these things can happen. Do you risk paying a big sum just because this guy is a "talent" at Roma? Mutu was brought for free, you can try him as much as you want. If he does not perform well, you can sell him and it will all be benefits. In the 4-3-3 Capello is trying, Mutu and Del Piero are both playing on the pitch. NO!!! It is not the same thing.

riquelme had a shite first year at barca. Hence they wanted someone else..in the form of ronni.

But unfortunately u cant say the same about cassano.

A: Mutu hasnt even had a chance yet.
B: Cassano isnt a godgifted creative playmaker....merely a crafty dribbler.

cassano is not of ronnis level so i couldnt really compare them as the same level.
