No Cassano Solution From Roma Meeting

The club and agent met this afternoon but no new contract was agreed.
Antonio Cassano will leave Roma this summer. This was what emerged from the meeting held in Rome between Daniele Pradè and Cassano’s agent. Giuseppe Bozzo.
Apparently the Giallorossi offered a 5 year deal to the highly rated forward at 2.8 million Euros per year. However the player’s agent refused categorically as Cassano will receive 3.2 million Euros next year if he does not change his current contract which expires in June of 2006.
This latest news means that Cassano and Roma are further apart and that a move away from the Capital city club is now inevitable. However the negotiation with Juventus looks like it will take quite some time to define as Roma are not interested in seaingl the deal any time soon.
