There are more signs of tension at Roma after Antonio Cassano reportedly abandoned another training session.
Speculation in the peninsula this afternoon claims that he left the field of play in the 57th minute of a friendly against Tivoli.
It is believed that the Italian international, dropped from the latest Azzurri squad, argued with a teammate before he stormed into the changing rooms.
The troubled enigma has a long history of ‘Cassanate’ but this latest show of indiscipline adds to his problems this season.
Cassano had already prematurely left a training session earlier this term after clashing with coaching staff.
He later had a verbal bust-up with former boss Rudi Voller following his dismissal in the Week 1 game against Fiorentina.
The player then reacted with disgust on Sunday when new Coach Gigi Del Neri replaced him in the 3-3 draw with Inter.
Cassano’s troubled start to the campaign will only increase speculation that he could quit the club in the summer – with Juventus and Milan keen on his signature.
Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu’s return to action saw him limp out of the Tivoli match after just 10 minutes.
The Romanian defender, who has just recovered from a broken foot, picked up a slight muscle strain.

Harking back to a recent article that rightfully questioned the conventional wisdom that "Managers don't win matches, players do" (one that heavily featured Signore Hat himself

there are probably few coaches in Serie A, let alone the world, who could develop a constructive, productive relationship for the love-hate world of Cassano and his Cassanate. Capello is clearly one of them.
I have to half wonder, however, that allowing Milan to sign him -- for example -- might do Juve just as much good as if we signed him ourselves.

I HOPE CASSANO Joins Juve..
because, if u read what moggi said, ull get it... he said, if cassano joins juve, he has to go after our rules.. and Cassano will do that, and Capello being the coach will be just Great.. he will not be a trublemaker in Juve.. he will be a STAR!!!

nah, serious now. Capello seemed to have fixed Cassano up when he first joined Roma. and last season really brought the best out of him. But does this mean that Capello has to be juves coach for the next 10 years if cassano does join the club?
i cant remember a player who has joined juve and ever done such things that cassano is doing now. i think the only two clubs who could control this in italy is probably juve or milan. They have the best environments in my opinion.
I'm starting to think Cassano is a smoke screen also. I think maybe Moggi will go for mutu in january, get him cheap in hope of mutu returning to parma form under capello. if this happens, i wont complain.
