I think a lot of people's opinions are skewed because he plays for Roma. Look what Cassano did during Euro 2004. Under a classy enviornment, he can excel and he showed it. Having Francesco Totti for a captain/ team mentor isn't a really good influence. At a club like Roma, without any sense of control or command, he will jerk off. But it would be a different story at Juve with Capello, Del Piero, Emerson, and Fabio Cannavaro incharge.

Yea, think about it this way. Juve with all their tradition have an aura about them, where nobody can rank themselves to be above the club. At Roma, Cassano feels that he is bigger than the team, and his temperament shows it.
