we must sign Cassano, mutu is playing on wings all the time, zalayeta Must leave,we are killing his career (we already did),and Del piero is 31.so having DP and zlatan and trezegol and casano is not a problem i guess.yes 3mil is nothing!

We can sell Mutu + Zalayeta if you guys are so worried about having too many strikers and we'd probably bring back around 10-15 mill pounds in return. That would be 7-12 mill pounds of profit we would make from buying Cassano and then trimming down our striker surplus.

We can then use that extra 7-12 mill pounds towards buying the aforementioned attacking midfielder and/or central defender.

It's not rocket science, people.

We bring in an ITALIAN player with a ton of potential, ship out two players who rarely get to play, make a profit and then add another good player or two.

So basically we would have:

-Cassano
-1 good defender/attacking mid

while giving up only:
-Mutu
-Zalayeta

Don't forget that we should be able to get some money by selling Miccoli this summer as well.

Financially-speaking, we are in a very good position even after we sign Cassano.

Why sell Mutu, a player that has settled with the team, is doing so well, is so versatile that he can play as a playmaker, a forward, wide on either the left or the rright. A player that does not complain, a player that is tested and has passed the test and above all a player whose salary is ONE FIFTH the player you want.

Because people are crying about a striker logjam. If Mutu is so gifted on the wings, then why are people saying that we have too many strikers if we can play one of them AND Cassano on the wings?

Even then, we can sell Zalayeta for the SAME PRICE OR MORE than what we pay for Cassano.

That's what I want to know.

It's the goal vs Inter when he was at Bari that got so overated by the media that made him "world-class". With the NT(when he feels like going) he was good. That I give to him but Mutu pops 2 goals a game for Romania so...

Jeeks you are forgetting that DP is not young anymore.and it would be very bad to miss the opportunity to sign cassano for that money,I personally would be pissed if he goes to Milan or Inter for money like that.

Why sell Mutu? No, sell Zalayeta and keep Mutu. Then we can use both Mutu and Cassano on the both wings. Strikers to ..

Nedved will also soon quit :( (mabye after this seson) and Mutu is a really good left winger. He got everything a left winger need.

At this point in time, Del Piero is ten fold better than that spoiled brat, that has done Roma so much trouble just to be with Capello. Are you willing to suffer this in 3 years when Capello leaves?

Even if we sell Zala for 2 mill euros/pounds/whatever, it's still a cheap upgrade to bring in Cassano for Zala.

Bringing in Cassano for 5 mill euros and losing Zala for nothing is still a good deal.

btw let's not even compare Zlatan and Cassano. Not even on the same planet.

too add to Juve material

Cassano whines, cries...when he gets subbed, tries to flick to ball to the goalie on an important pk and tells his coaches to f-off. NOT JUVE STYLE

Zlatan is intense, doesn't care about the opponent, when he tries some tricks most of the time it works...
