Exactly, sometimes you wonder.

BTW, does Cassano know how to shoot a free kick? I think not. Mutu knows, and I thought we solved this problem.
Totally agree, mutu is a dead ball speciallist something we dont have...have lets give him away :fero:

But we really should keep Mutu...

Anyways, the signs where there... Lack of playing time in the friendlies and Supercoppa as compared to other players...

Juve agree Cassano deal Thu, Aug 25 2005 12:18
It is believed that Juventus have reached an agreement with Roma for their young forward Antonio Cassano.
Tension regarding the starlet's future in the capital has reached breaking point over the past few weeks and it is now reported that following a meeting between Bianconeri director general Luciano Moggi and his opposite number Daniele Prade, Roma have agreed to exchange Cassano for Adrian Mutu, Giorgio Chiellini and a balancing cash sum.
An official announcement is expected to be made to the press on Friday morning. The Giallorossi had their hand forced with the transfer, as the former Bari star had rejected the terms of a contract extension and only has one more year left on his current deal at the Stadio Olimpico.

To stop him leaving on a free transfer, Roma decided the best move would be to allow him to make a £13million switch to Juve to at least gain back a large slice of the £20million they paid out for him four years ago.

Anyone in their right mind wouldnt want Mutu to leave for Cassano. Not when he's a season away from being free, not when there is Zalayeta or Miccoli as an option, not when Chiellini is already part of the deal.

Capello should better win the CL next year seeing how Moggi favor all his mercato wishs starting with Emerson, Cannavaro, Zlatan, Vieira and now Cassano...
He'd better do that,or else nothing will be justified.

Cannavaro and Vieira are not Capello's wishes, they are Moggi's work. Had it been to Capello it would be Chivu or Samuel for the defender role and Zanetti or Dacourt for the Vieira role.

Yea, but I think he only didnt feature prominently in the Supercoppa, besides that he was impressive in each and every appearance. I'm sure Moggi had an open mind about it.
