hmmmmmm? is it so hard to figur that out! as Jeeks said on the post i responded to, if we get gila, then we have to get rid of TREZEGUET!!! and thats why i dont want Gila, becouse i like trez, and as long as he stays free from injurie then he will be the greatest... and YES to Cassano becuase he is fantastic, and becuase he will be the future in italian football, + with him we would be able to play the tridente :D

BUT! if we can sign them BOTH, then go ahead, but if i should choose one of them, Cassano or Gila, then i would defently choose Cassano, as right now, he is the one we need!

Giraudo: Cassano Is Not Coming!
6/20/2005 6:25:00 PM Goal.com
The Juventus directors keep on denying the arrival of the young Roma forward.
The Bianconeri’s Administrator, Antonio Giraudo, has categorically rebuffed the speculation that Antonio Cassano is on his way to Turin as he believes that Juventus do not need any more forwards upfront.

“Cassano is a champion, a lad with a great future, but right now the Juve attack line is well covered. We have already made three important purchases: Kovac, Mutu and Giannichedda.”

However, Giaraudo still left the door open for a possible important ‘surprise’ transfer that the Old Lady might still reserve to its fans.

“If we had the possibility of making another important transfer that might strengthen Juve, we wouldn’t hold back,” declared Giraudo.

this means Cassano will join THIS WEEK !

we have Mutu/Dp/Zlatan as supporting strikers and only one or maybe half finisher
Zlatan and DP or Mutu to parter with Treze and Gila
4attackers, very balanced team and we dont have to send away Treze
now if we choose Cassano we will have to depend on treze an maybe even sub Zlatan,
if Treze gets injured again(smth very probably to happen), once again our team remains without finisher

Actually the deal that can be struck is that:

Cassano-Juve, sempre più vicini
20 06 2005

Antonio Cassano, 23 anni Grazia Neri

Cassano to us,

Miccoli---->Roma
Mutu----->Fiorentina(Prandeli wants him more, from Parma days).

it says that they want to sell him before 30th June.

Forza Juve!

Recent news say that the deal will probably be, Cassano fo Miccoli or Mutu, plus Masiello on "compropieta"... Not very thrill about the deal...:groan:

Juventus have moved to play down speculation linking them with a move for Roma star Antonio Cassano.

The Italian international has been constantly linked with a move to Juve and fresh reports have suggested the Serie A champions were closing in on his signature.

Cassano's future has been the subject of intense speculation for a number of months because of Roma's poor campaign last term.

Juve have always rejected the reports linking them with Cassano and Bianconeri chief officer Antonio Giraudo has again dismissed the claims, insisting the club do not need to buy the striker because of attacking talent they already have at the club.

"Cassano is a really big champion," said Giraudo.

"He's a guy with a big perspective, but in this moment, Juve's attack is really well covered.

"In this market, we have already made three important signings in Kovac, Mutu and Giannichedda.

"But should there be the possibility to make a coup that is able to strengthen Juve, surely we won't hold back."

I hope we wont regret our blind faith to Treze once again,
and we wont need a "working" goal machine like Gila,
Adriano is for sure the best solution,
but we are just Juventus

I actually think that if we stick another season with Trezeguet, he will surprise us all. He has been injured many times, and that is a risk factor, I agree, BUT I have this gut feeling that with Cassano coming, we will see a 3-4-3, like Capello and his Roma days. Imagine how much damage Trezeguet could unleash:devil:

Roma Fans Jeer 'Traitor' Cassano At Totti's Wedding
6/20/2005 11:25:00 AM
A small group of Roma fans present outside of Totti’s wedding booed the only current Roma player invited at the ceremony held yesterday in the historic Ara Coeli church, Antonio Cassano.
“Join your friend the traitor Capello,” they shouted at the Bari-born Peter Pan.

“Go to Juventus, you sell-out,” was another phrase they used.

Cassano is expected to join the Bianconeri this week, even though the two clubs still have yet to agree to terms on the sale-fee.

Currently Juventus are offering around 5 million Euros less than Roma would like to get out of the deal.

yeah, i hope that baby brat never arrives in turin. he isnt good enough to be on the same pitch as Del Piero, I cannot BELIEVE the soccer assocation allowed Cassano to play for rome in that match.

No wonder he was subbed.. probably couldnt stand the CLASS GAP.
