I also don't think that Williams is very good a defender, albeit on the Hornets. Seems to be when he fancies it.

Schroeder is also a guy who turned down 84m with the Lakers lmao.
Schroeder is one of the biggest idiots in the league, he makes Kyrie look smart.

Dude likes to respond on insta with “That’s Tuff (fire emoji) (100 emoji) ”

One time Montrez Harrell posted about his mother passing away, I believe they might have been teammates at the time.

Take a wild guess what Schroeder replied with.

Man, what Lebron is doing as a 40 year old is batshit crazy. 38 minutes, 42 pts - 17 rebounds - 8 assists - 1 steal - 1 block. 14-25 shooting / 6-9 from 3. Willing his team to another win while Luka and Williams aren’t playing yet. 4 straight wins without AD or now his new star teammates including on the road against Knicks and Clippers.

No one has ever come close to performing like this guy has at 40.

MJ will always be the greatest in my eyes for his peak, but in terms of greatness plus longevity, Lebron has passed Kareem at this point. That a 40 year old can dominate like he can with this sorta consistency is wild.

They used to play defence, hand checks and sh!t, no flopping. Hell with illegal defence, only downside of '90s, zonal defence way tougher. Kd is playing after freaking achilles tendon rupture, Curry can play with his style till his 50s... There is no strain on the body during regular season, only whats left from "serious" basketball in USA is playoffs, even that is nothing special. There is a plenty off reasons why viewership went down.

True, basketball has gotten softer but no one else from his era has been able to do what LeBron is doing. Dude is still arguably top 5 player in the NBA at 40.

It’s why cross-generational comparisons of greats only work if people don’t engage in that sorta nonsense. A player’s greatness is determined by his dominance within his own generation ( or in LeBron’s case, multiple generations lol).

Hockey has the best example for this. People constantly try to diminish what Gretzky did because it was in the high scoring 80s. But no one in his generation of players managed to come even close to his accomplishments. For 6 straight season from 1982 to 1987 he had at least 70 points more than 2nd place scoring leader. Like 50% more points than 2nd place for 6 straight years. Crazy dominance. No one since is even close to dominating their peers like that.

Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama expected to miss rest of season with blood clot

French star and reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama is expected to miss the rest of the season with a blood clot in his right shoulder, the San Antonio Spurs announced Thursday.

Wembanyama, 21, is averaging 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and an NBA-best 3.8 blocks per game. The Spurs said they discovered a deep vein thrombosis — or a blood clot in a deep vein — upon Wembanyama’s return from San Francisco for All-Star weekend.

This story will be updated.

Just had this pop up from The Atlantic. Doesn't sound too good.

Yeah that shit can kill you.

Is he more susceptible being that tall? I'm no expert but how those things form it would make sense.

Bobby Portis got suspended for 25 games for taking a banned substance.

Was surprised to see an awful Hornets team beat the Lakers.

Among all those players only Bosh and Ingram's was that I know of. Don't even know there were others who had also suffered from it. Maybe it won't be serious but again nobody knows.

Ok so I did read that tall people are considerably more susceptible to blood clots, so not surprising to see NBA players suffer. They also fly a lot, and Wemby had just done a lot of air miles, not to mention he is a 7'5" unicorn.
