I know very little about basketball, but people telling me that if Jokic keeps this up he is goat material. Honest question; is he that good?

He is top 12-15 of all time level player in ability, he is insanely unique and dominant in skillset.

But no chance for goat material unless he wins tons of titles after another, which is unlikely because he has no all nba, all-star or even any defensive team of the year teammates. Aka has no real top level help. He is the system and is carrying a decent bunch to western conference finals.

But more then that he will need better teammates and even more dominant performances (offensively he is best ever type level, but his weakness is defense).


My Timberwolves was just kicked out by Jokics Nuggets. And its so frustrating to face him because there is nothing you can do to stop him, he is just too skilled and too smart. He had a split second counter move on everything. Because is possibly best playmaker ever despite being center, trying to stop him from scoring doesn't work because he finds impossible angle passes for a teammate out of nowhere.

He cooks for a game or 2, then goes back down to average inefficiency 2-3 games after. He was like that in wolves series.
