Zubac averaging 19 ppg - 9.4 rpg - 1.2 bpg in 25.2 minutes over the last 5 games agains OKC, GS, Houston, Minny, Phoenix. 66.1% from the field and 91.3% from the FT line. :delpiero:

We're excited about him for good reason, especially after how poor he looked last year and to begin this season.

I know Bro. I have the NBA channel on like 24/7 :p

Also, I bet on some games, so I need to stay posted/updated on shit.

Still debating whether to put money on Philly or LA having the highest scoring quarter :D

If we trade him I will be really pissed.

He seems to do very well when given some minutes.

I don't why Walton doesn't give him some continuity.

No one is disputing that.

I'm not even going to bother trying to have conversations anymore. This forum is fucking useless
I think the worst thing is how many Lakers fans are here. Nothing against you, just l the other people who have no relation to the Lakers. They’re a pretty annoying franchise.

What am I supposed to do, not talk about them? I would like to think that I am the last person on this forum that would overhype anything about the Lakers. If you go back on this thread for the years where they were just awful, I was still here. I try my best to be objective and call it as I see it. I can't help it if the twitterverse out there either praises the young kids to the high heavens , or calls them piles of flaming dog shit.

It's because Walton could be out of his depth. Or, maybe he needs to realize that he can't run the Golden State offense if he doesn't have the shooters that Golden State does. If he was smart, he would take the ball out of Lebron's hands, and run a dribble drive offense.

I said nothing against you, but if you take a look, if me Osman or I aren’t posting, this thread is a Lakers thread. It’s just annoying, I know there’s nothing you can do about it since you like talking about them and are a fan. But having such a big fan base comes with the unfortunate side effect of having to take shit from other fan bases. Especially now that you have Lebron.

Zizinho is the worst person here btw, I’m pretty sure he only watches Lakers games. Just felt like getting that off my chest.

Embiid will have another double double. 26 points and 12 rebounds. Him and Zubac aren't even in the same stratosphere talent wise.
I’m hoping for 50+ points. Hasn’t been done since AI

I love talking basketball, be it college or pro. And I try to call it as I see it, whether its positive or negative, regardless of what team they play for. Take Simmons, for example. I was one of his biggest supporters last year, going on record here stating that the ROY race should never have been questioned, and I even had him in conversation for the MVP last year after what he did for the Sixers down the stretch with Embiid out. If you remember, I even went and claimed that I tho9ugh Philly would make the Finals, and it was because of him that I thought that.

Conversely, I also stated this year that I don't see any improvement in his game, and especially his greatest weakness, which is anything from mid-range on out. But I didn't say that he has regressed. I COULD say that about Jayson tatum, but i don't feel like catching the flak from Celtics fans here.

Hell, you can even go back to when they drafted Embiid, and you were worried about his injuries. I'm 99% sure that I told you that when he gets healthy, he wass the best player in that draft.

You’re cool as shit Serge, and you know your shit. I don’t mean you in general, just the general number of Lakers fans outnumbers everyone else combined. But like I said, that’s usually the case in most places bar a basketball forum.

Anyways, now there’s rumors of the Raptors placing bids for AD. Idk how to feel about that.

Here's the thing though, and you have to begrudgingly give the Laker fans that you know some credit. We just went through an absolutely dreadful 4 year strecth, and we are still here. I don't know how long otheres on this forum have been here, but I was here when Shaq got traded, and they went through 5 years of incredible mediocrity. It may seem like a bunch of bandwagoners, but we really aren't.

I heard about both Toronto and Milwaukee. I know that Toronto could probably look at trading Van Fleet and that young PF they have starting in the lineup, but that won't be close to enough.

Milwaukee though? I have to look at their roster to see who is expendable

Simmons is a physical freak and super athletic but his skill level is one that probably doesn’t get him to the NBA if he wasn’t 6’10.

Khris Middleton as a centerpiece maybe? But he's not even better than Kuzma, and is 4 years older. I don't see where the pieces are for Milwaukee to make a deal. Toronto, yes. Those 2 aforementioned guys plus that OG cat could be a good starting point.

But objectively speaking, are those three a better package than Kuzma, Zubac, and Lonzo? I'm not sure about that. The Pelicans would be getting a much younger core with these three than they would with Toronto

What about picks? Can’t imagine Toronto trumping the lakers there either.

I did read something, and if this is true , then the responsible parties need to be brought up on collusion or tampering charges.

Apparently, Popovich told the Pelicans GM not to "cave in" to the Lakers.

Can't do that. Absolutely not allowed. You cannot tell someone from another team what they should or should not do regarding that other team's player.

I think Siakam, Valanciunas, and OG would be hard to turn down.

He’s just providing emotional support, I don’t see the problem

You can't do that. It is tampering. If Magic got fined 500K for winking on Jimmy Kimmel, then Pop needs to be fined heavily for this.

But if you are a GM that has to rebuild, what package do you go with?

Haha Pop is a salty dick.
