its close but id take healthy Porzingins over Towns (there are more between Embiid and Simmons, but didnt think it was necessary to make a longer list for my point). i put AD (Giannis too btw, legit MVP candidate already and tons of room to grow) there because he belongs in the same age group. but i think Embiid has more upside even if AD is currently better, provided he can stay healthy fo several seasons

one thing that makes me really happy is how many bigs there are among the top young players in the league, been a while since that was the case
sadly a healthy Porzingis exists for like 15 games a season. if he's well rested and injury free he's unstoppable as he demonstrated start of this season, but he simply isn't built for NBA schedule, guy started playing every second game semi-injured before the fall was over and was done around New Years.

in NBA there are 82 games in a regular season, in Europe ACB (the Spanish one) has 32 games, GBL (Greek one) has 26 games, Turkey has 30 games and Italy has 30 games. Of course there're also Euroleague games, but the difference is still incredible

Julius Randle is throwing a huge monkey wrench into the Lakers plans of 2 max contracts in the summer, by playing out of his damn mind this year.

And I'm ok with that, to be perfectly honest. I'm not sure I want him to go. Rumored teams to be interested in the summer are Dallas and Philadelphia.

Yeah maybe teams should start go over the top screens instead of under? Put sum respect on Dat name Spurs. He sonned them. Low key shooting 44 procent from 3 in 2018, teams gonna start hounding him out on perimeter.

BTW few of his assists were so easy because Randle just bullied everyone lol.

I don't follow NBA much so can someone explain to me why are Toronto Raptors so good and what are their chances for the Championship? I used to follow them when I was a kid but then lost interest in basketball.

last season they were a very good team, but it was mostly their two allstars Lowry and DeRozan carrying the load. they got swept by the Cavs in the east semis tho. this season both their stars seem to have taken a backseat and got their teammates involved more, which translates to their offense looking more fluid with more ball movement now compared to last year. their defense also improved a lot. they look like a different (better) team this year, and if they can stay like this in the playoffs as well, i think they are gonna be a threat to Clevelend and Boston to reach the finals. winning a championship tho? nope
