The tanking from the Hornets recently has been incredible, they are absolutely shameless lol. That half at the Pistons is actually quite shameful for the league.

Got to watch my first NBA game of this season. Spurs Nuggets didn’t disappoint.

Wemby blocking Jokic for 2nd last possession was sweet lol. Taste of whats to come in playoffs near fufure.

Vassell was kind of stupid for going to score after, instead of wasting time final 4 seconds. Good thing MPJr missed the 3.

@Osman (tagging since I can’t use reply on my phone)
Yeah Wemby was a beast but he also had 7 turnovers. Nuggets had a decent plan to force turnovers double teaming him with a big and Russ. People expect him to dominate in the paint but he’s not a Shaq.
It was also great seeing him play the last 5 minutes with such discipline being on 5 fouls.
what Vassel did was JR Smith like stupid. What’s even more stupid is Mike Malone not calling a timeout after that to advance the ball. Bizarre moment at the end.

Yeah I'm not one to force someone to a certain style due to size. But its sad at times watching Wemby for a full game and they switch a wing or guard or him and he has no interest to back down or attack paint.

Just shoot jump shot, which is essentially bailing out the defence even if at his height they basically uncontested. Saw him do that several times vs Rockets with porter jr on him.

Its fine being flexible, skilled and versatile in your game and wanting to be KD. But need to utilise his massive advantage more, realise the spots he can get the easy buckets. He forces too much guard like plays that leads to turn overs or poor shots.

And yeah Vasell defenitely channeled his inner Jr Smith. And is it confirmed Malone had time out left? If they did that's massively incompetent by him.

Its the reverse of what Will Hardy and Jazz did last month, they need 2 pts to win and Sexton is driving for layup that is going in last seconds, but Hardy calls time out and virtually cancels it out lol. Guranteed the loss vs Lakers. Huge blunder or blatant tanking move lol

Nuggets had taken 6 timeouts and 3 in the 4th. They had one left.
I agree with you somewhat on Wemby not dominating in the paint, but every time I see him trying to do that his massive height makes him prone to double teaming and steal down low. Dude probably can’t see the floor being too far away.

You seen this graphic? Shits unreal historic start to a career:

If he remains healthy most of career and gets better teammates, he has basically free leeway to possibly become the goat.
