i read that both sets of fans were to blame.

i think it was in nick vs world thread where paul gave quite a detailed story about this tragedy.

I see. gotta check that out. from what I hear - or rather read, I think - it was about some Juve fans being in this confined section and the Liverpool fans tried to get in and in the end it collapsed or something. :wth:

Basically the Juve fans were taunting the Liverpool fans, the English fans over reacted, police didn`t know what to do, and the tragedy occured.

You can`t really blame someone specifically cos during a match fans taunt each other all the time so it`s normal. Obviously the Liverpool fans over reacted a way too much, but the blame should go on the security for letting this happen

true, and its not that only pool fans charged juve's section. both tried to get into other section and contruction collapsed when liverpool's were attacking.
