We, or I at least, wouldn't have been toying with him if he didn't. I got myself some infractions for my replies to him because some of his posts deserved just as idiotic replies (like the post where just because he disagreed with Osman he said how he'd like to fuck/rape Osman's mother). Yet the guy kept surviving. When it was obvious that actions weren't taken against him, then why not play with him a little?

Actually Alen, at this point a warning/infraction would be no good. I think the purpose of those is to actually 'warn' the person. What you guys are doing is continuing the same type of behavior. A few years back, someone like Furia would have never managed to make as many posts as he's already had. Those insults (some targeted at mods) and racist talks would have never been tolerated. I remember a guy being instantly banned for saying that black people don't have brains (referring to Sissoko's bad displays). Surprisingly enough, it took a way longer time for Furia to go on vacation. It could be partly Snoop and Alen's fault though as they seem to be enjoying taking best of Furia out of him.

it is always harder to make this sort of decision when someone is continually being provoked. i think Furia is a thoroughly unlikeable little cunt but when someone is being continually provoked,you must surely expect a reaction.

afterall, isn't this the reasoning we all had to bring Andries back? that he may have posted some seriously racist stuff,insulted lots of people,etc but...well,he was antagonised!

I understand. But when Alen and Snoop and others do play his game continuously then it only makes sense that it took little bit longer to ban the guy. The guy would receive the Mecca jokes/troll and he'd respond back even worse. At times it was like they were enjoying what Furia would respond as much as they repeated the Mecca and Islam jokes.

Make fun of the guy but why bring Nationalities, religious, sects into it? It doesn't help anyone's case and they were all at fault IMO but I had to ban Furia because he took it way into another level.

He's a troll, I agree, but it's not like any of you were helping the case. Same case like Maher, it took him a while to ban him the first time because as much as annoying and a troll he was as much as we were feeding him what he wanted and extending his presence around us.

Furia definitely deserves a permanent ban. When his current ban expires, he'll be back trolling again, guaranteed. If he actually added something to a discussion he'd be OK with me, but he doesn't.
