I think permabanning Rakib already is too harsh, isn't this his first ban? To me he just seems like an overenthusiastic kid who still has a lot to learn about football and tactics (and forum etiquette, I suppose). Unfortunately that comes across as trolling/spamming, which I agree should be punished, otherwise he wouldn't learn... but not necessarily permanently.

It's not even about what type of poster he is, other people have made dupe accounts while banned and they didn't get permabanned. If most people think he's detrimental to the forum, then ban him for that, I'm not even saying he shouldn't be banned. But not for something that other posters on temp bans have gotten away with. Maybe introduce a rule that doubles someone's ban if they are caught making a new account, so they are less likely to attempt it.

And I mean, he's annoying a lot of the time and has made some ridiculous posts, but is that really worse than some other stuff that goes on here? Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed an increase of insults and systematic attacks on certain users here. Whether those people deserve it or not, isn't that worse behavior than what Rakib has done? I agree that at least a couple of them invite it upon themselves by the way they act, and admittedly I've poked a bit of fun at them on occasion, but some people can't post anything anymore without someone having a go at them. I don't want to get anyone banned, especially because some of these people are posters I otherwise like, but I'd just like to bring that up for perspective.
