Though Milan have courted Ronaldinho far longer than us so I think they would have a better chance of getting him.

And with our new 'cost cutting management' I just cant see them paying his wages.

Its more than likley Diego, hes on the market, though we are probably secretly negoating VDV.

Mancio: Inter want Ronaldinho! Saturday 19 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roberto Mancini has stunned the media by admitting Inter are interested in Ronaldinho. “Nobody believed me…”

For over two years now the Brazilian has been a declared target for their rivals Milan, who now seem to have dropped their interest in the Barcelona star.

However, a switch to San Siro is still possible for the former World Player of the Year, but in the Nerazzurri colours.

“Nobody believed me when I talked about Ronaldinho,” grinned Mancio during today’s Press Conference.

“I don’t think it would be a problem to have him settle in to the squad. Ronaldinho is a great player and, aside from his behaviour, the important thing is that a champion steps on to the field and makes the difference. He almost always does that.”

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi had announced he was dropping his bid to sign Ronaldinho last week, stating that the Selecao hero could “cause problems” in the locker room.

This left Chelsea as the only contenders for his signature, but Inter appear to be in the running as well now and President Massimo Moratti has never been shy about splashing the cash on his players.

Moratti has pledged to sign a big star for their Centenary celebrations and Ronaldinho could well fit the bill.

Seems like a BS rumour. We have lost out on numerous player's in the last yr because of money, and now were going to spend 43 million euro's on 1 player? Not a chance.

For arguements sake, if it were true, Id be dissapointed if spent 43 million euro's on 1 player. U could sign VDV and Huntelaar for that amount, or re-do our entire defence with world class players.

Well I think we will get Diego but I really hope it will be Ronaldinho as he is really a player who can make a difference and has the ability to become the best again!
But even if we get Ronaldinho we should also sign othe players as he won`t be enough!

As for Diego he would be the cheaper and younger option. He would certainly give us the needed creativity but won`t be as dominant as Ronaldinho a kind of player which we need the most so if there is an option on Ronaldinho we should take it

Exactly, cant really believe anyone would say no to Ronaldinho, The short term memory on people are bewildering.
I would have said no to Ronaldinho the year Barca won the CL, I would have said no to Ronaldinho while scoring his wonder goal against some Spanish team last season and simply I would say to Ronaldinho anywhere and anytime.

Utterly illogical crap is nothing to brag about, just saying. Wow you hate him, good for you, and good for laughs...

But considering you say anytime, you would say no to the Worlds best player for years, because of some nonsensical crappy reason that has nothing to do with his actual football (you wouldnt challenge the fact he is brilliant would you?), good luck finding anyone taking you seriously in that regard.

Ill take him seriously, like all opinions which are meant to be serious. I literally choked at this line "the Worlds best player for years". Barcelona players are often overrated in these competitions. If you ask me, Kaka has been much better than him over the past few years. The ability to choke in big matches helps his case a lot. He is good, not brilliant. Better options are out there who won't whine and moan all the time, and they won't think that they are bigger than the club either. He is a complacent, lazy player who I really don't want to see come to Juve. Please get him Inter.

Wait, are you really saying Ronaldinho hasnt been the best in the world since he signed for Barca??? You choked at Ronaldinho being beyong brilliant with Barca for the last years??? If the most obvious fact in the world football makes you choke, then you have some issues.

And last season was supposed to his worst in his career, was labled a flop, but still scored 22 league goals and 8 CL ones.

No offense, but how old are you? JCK atleast isnt questionning his skills as a player but hates him for whatever reason, you are retardedly questionning the obvious of how amazing he is as a player (you mentionned Mutu and the likes having better season??? Ronaldinho scored more goals and more assists...in his "bad" season).

I said Mutu and the likes are having a better season because of their situation. In your first paragraph you really do accuse me of a lot. You said best in the world for the past few years, I choked at that comment. He has been brilliant at Barça, Ill not take that away from him, but based on recent happenings, I wouldn't take him. Kaka has consistently been class.

I'm not questioning his abilities either. He does produce a magical flick, or pass once so often in a game. This piece of "magic" used to happen a lot more regularly when he first joined, if you noticed. Ronaldinho is surrounded by world class players in Messi etc. Mutu isn't exactly swamped with that class, and is still 3rd best scorer in the league.

I've not been impressed with him recently, if he can get better and rejuvenate with us, then he obviously will be a great player. Money must also be taken into account though. He won't want to be on level terms as the best payed player here now, pretty sure of that.
