Celtic this weekend and Rangers next weekend.

Can't wait to get stuck into the fuckers
good luck by the way, hate the ugy sisters and should be a good time to meet rangers with all the disruption

Watch for Lee Miller, Aberdeen's CF, and probably the most complete forward in the country (7 goals in last 8 games) and Sone Aluko who is great to watch and tore Willy Sagnol a new arsehole when we played Bayern last season.
miller is a quality forward but wish he would concentrate more on playing than all the petty fouling and arguments he gets into

By the way I just heard that Manchester City is ready to offer 60mln euros for De Rossi.
fuck the KAka transfer, THIS could be the singing of the year

I wouldnt complain if Juventus had City's money.Who would anyway other than rival supporters?
exactly

think what we all need to realise is that apart from the mega-wealthy clubs times are about to get tougher for everyone.
this "experiment" at man city is by no means a certain to succeed and the money in the EPL has probably reached a peak. sure they are trying to start a bidding war for future rights but it is my belief that over the next 10 years the money coming from broadcasters is gonna start to decrease significantly. it may take and ITV digital sized collapse but english clubs are cashing cheques they cannot really afford, when teh bottom falls out of the market there are gonna be a hell of a lot of clubs in serious financial trouble

It really would be.He's a romanista so I don't know if he would leave that easy...but...Sensi family is in huge debts(250mln +).Banca di Roma is helping them but not much.So if they really offer 60mln euors or something they might think twice.Personally I don't think it's gonna happen but we'll see.

    Kaka "crying" about City move

Kaka was spotted “in tears” at the Milanello training ground and could break down during tonight’s fan protests against Fiorentina.

According to several newspapers, including the Corriere dello Sport, the target of a £108m Manchester City bid was weeping as he left the locker room.

Tonight could well be his final match in a Rossoneri jersey and it may get emotional, as fans are planning a huge demonstration of love for the player at San Siro.

They hope to convince him – and the club – to turn down a record-shattering transfer fee of £108m plus another £108m in wages and £27m in fees.

The Corriere dello Sport also claims that City have accepted a clause in Kaka’s contract allowing him to walk away for £60m if any of the contract terms are breached.

Wages were boosted as recompense for not playing in the Champions League next season, so he would be earning around £16m per season.

Meanwhile, The Sun newspaper has dug up an old interview in which Kaka expresses less than flattering opinions about Manchester City.

“Arsenal and Manchester United are different from the other English teams. They play a bit more and are more open.

"They are different from the typical English teams who have a tall striker and hold on to the ball.

“That’s more typical of Liverpool and Chelsea, who are very tactical sides — more English. Man United and Arsenal are more agile. They let other teams play and they play, too.”

    Ancelotti powerless to stop Kaka

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he will have no say over whether Kaka leaves for Manchester City.

After previously refusing Chelsea and Real Madrid permission to speak with the Brazilian former world player of the year, Milan have finally buckled after being presented with a staggering £108 million offer from City.

Angry Milan fans are preparing a mass protest at tonight's Serie A encounter with Fiorentina at the San Siro, when Kaka will play alongside David Beckham for the Rossoneiri against Fiorentina.

But Ancelotti admits he is powerless to resist the move, if Milan's senior officials give the green light.

"It is not like the days of Franco Baresi or Paolo Maldini when we just used to say 'They are not for sale'," admitted Ancelotti.

"I have said that Kaka should not leave. He is the central part of the future. But I am just the trainer. I train the team. I do not choose the players.

"If Kaka leaves then it is something I will have to accept. The question now is down to Kaka. It's up to him if he stays or goes."

The statement is hardly going to ease tensions among a militant support who have only been able to look upon in complete bewilderment as City put together possibly the most astonishing transfer of all time.

Yet Ancelloti also tried to adopt a calming approach.

"We cannot be too alarmed," he cautioned. "I know what the fans are thinking but they have to be brave.

"The aims for the team remain the same, with or without Kaka."

The idea of life without Kaka is one Milan may have to get used to.

Indeed, a part of owner Silvio Berlusconi might privately hope the transfer goes through, given the staggering fee, more than double the current £47m world record Real Madrid paid for Zinedine Zidane in 2001, Milan stand to pocket.

However, there is still plenty of work to do.

Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak and executive chairman Garry Cook need to convince Kaka's father Bosco Leite of their grandiose plans.

Such is the trust between father and son, if City are successful in that aim, Kaka could well be making his debut against Newcastle on January 28 as planned.

With a clause almost certainly going to be inserted into any contract Kaka signs allowing the player to leave should City not reach a certain level - probably Champions League qualification - within a set time-frame - 18 months has been mentioned - the Blues hierarchy cannot afford to remain static in other areas over the next fortnight as they close in on their number one target.

Hamburg have confirmed a bid has been received from the Eastlands outfit for their highly-rated Dutch midfield star Nigel de Jong.

"Manchester City have signalled their interest in the player and made us an offer," said Hamburg spokesman Jorn Wolf.

"We now have to sit down and decide if it is worth considering."

The feeling at City is that De Jong will make the move, which would at least mean Kaka is not settling in on his own should he decide to accept an estimated £500,000 weekly salary.

I heard they offered 17mln euros for De Jong and that they are ready to pay 45mln pounds for Terry.

i personally would not like to see kaka leave! it would be a travesty for italian football

    _______________________________________________________________

C4 has a really good blog on the issue as well...

    Blog: Kaka's curse

Usually a £107m transfer would have fans up in arms about mercenary players, but in Kaka’s case Susy Campanale pours scorn on the clubs

If Kaka signs for Manchester City, it will be a disaster for all concerned and for football as a whole. Not only will it make nouveau riche sides with bored rich owners think they can just come and buy up stars as if they were browsing the Louvre for something to hang in the hallway, but it would also cut 99 per cent of clubs out of the future transfer market. Paying anyone that sum of money is ludicrous, but City aren’t the real targets of my rage today. I am looking straight at Milan.

Kaka is not one of those players willing to throw a solid rapport away for the sake of cash. Regardless of how much City offered in wages, he would never demand a transfer for filthy lucre alone. He certainly wouldn’t go to Eastlands for the prestige of fighting against relegation and the hope of maybe in a few years qualifying for the Champions League. Even Ronaldinho turned them down! There is no reason on earth why Kaka would push for this transfer to go through. So why did Milan provide him with one?

In holding negotiations with Man City and letting him talk to the club, Milan have tacitly acknowledged they don’t really want him around. This, for someone who consistently rejected more tempting proposals from Real Madrid and Chelsea, must be heart-breaking. Ricky did not ask for any of this, but the Rossoneri have slapped him in the face, betraying all that talk of the side being “a family” the moment a new Brazilian walks through the door. Shame on you.

I understand many of you will point to the practicalities, the offer Milan cannot refuse, as with £107m they could rebuild an entirely new squad and begin a new era at San Siro with world class young talent. I heard similar statements at the time Andriy Shevchenko was sold for £30m and look how that turned out… Juventus could do it when they handed Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid and used the cash for Gigi Buffon, Pavel Nedved and Lilian Thuram, but the Diavolo executives have shown they will always nibble stale bread in order to splash out on champagne.

Of course, Kaka doesn’t have to accept this step down – way down – in his career, but the way Milan have gone about this means the end is nigh. If he remains, then he will be fully aware the club no longer wants him despite his proven talent, work rate and loyalty. So come the summer when Real Madrid and Chelsea come knocking again, this time he’ll do what these sides always wanted and push the move through, presumably at a far lower price than Manchester City are currently offering. And, frankly, Milan will deserve it.

I can not believe that Mark Huges (who is just average coach) can justify £100 mil. for one player.
He could buy 3-4 WC players for that money and get more of his team that way.

Imagine Man.City give us £100 mil for Gigi and Trez how many players we could buy ?

I'd hate to see De Rossi leave Roma. Most importantly because I like to beat De Rossi, Totti and Aquilani, but also because De Rossi's a true romanista and there are already few club players as it is.
