Celtic this weekend and Rangers next weekend.

Can't wait to get stuck into the fuckers.
Ever since I saw your previous signature, I always wanted to see Aberdeen play... I know you and Bozi have warned me about SPL, but I think I'll give this one a go... they are showing it on TV here...

Yeah, the game is on TV.

We have a terrible record against Celtic at home (though we regularly beat them away from home), so I'm not expecting a result.

It should be a good game because we've won 6 of our last seven games.

Watch for Lee Miller, Aberdeen's CF, and probably the most complete forward in the country (7 goals in last 8 games) and Sone Aluko who is great to watch and tore Willy Sagnol a new arsehole when we played Bayern last season.

The more kind of Chelsea appear, the worse for us.
We can no longer compete with teams that spend way too much catch.
And our limited abilities and the reduced value of prestige, hold a potential of hurting our club a great deal. Added the fact that we have an incompetent management, someone can easily do the maths...
The more Man City appear, the less chances we have to strengthen our team and keep top quality players.

I am not sure yet, if all the gathered wealth sited in a certain country, is a good thing or not.
England has always been competitive and their financial superiority compensated for the rest of their "lacking".
But in the last years, there have been, an extremely unusual concentration of wealth. With Manure, Chelsea, Liverpool and now Man city, able to spend millions upon millions. And attract the interest of the best players in the world.
The overall level of quality of those teams and the championship as a whole, has also been greatly enhanced. Many of serie A stars and coaches, now dream of playing for those teams. The high level of competition, the abundance of stars and the highest salaries, football has to offer, can be tempting enough, to choose them, instead of us...

Maybe that would explain, Berlusconni's persistence to prestige, rather than quality, form, or potential...

You are taking this a bit too serious.

Chelsea made some revolution but clubs are still able to defeat them. They will have a lot of trouble with us in Champions League. In fact,I think we are going through.

You must realise Cronios, that even our staff said it will take 5 years for us to get back on the old level. It's a known fact, you can't expect them to buy some quality players just like that,it takes some time and we are going step by step.Secco is not that bad,we just don't have money to buy some better players. You can't call them incompetent because even fans knew it will take some time for us to return on the top.

City can be threat for us,but not that big considering competition because as I stated earlier, all teams are beatable. We destoryed Milan and they had :gsol: big names :gsol:

Point is that it doesn't make sense for some clubs to throw money just like that on one player (Kaka),it can destroy the essence of football.

They are making it imbalanced you can't do much about it.Italian clubs used to struggle even before they were bought by some billioners so that's nothing new.Serie A will get some club like that soon probably.Roma will be sold sooner or later and it will be either Soros or some Arabs who will buy and then it can be bad for us.

Transfer money shouldn't be restricted. It would only force players to stay at rich clubs against their will, since the club would have no reason to sell someone for what they consider peanuts.

I'd like to see wage caps however and restrictions on investing borrowed money into clubs (not what Man City is doing, but what everyone else are).
