Do you think this can affect/ruin football?Sky-high transfers and wages for one of the best players in Europe and do you think they will succeed with it?

So far they are close to Kaka, they want Buffon,De Rossi etc.

Do you there will be any players left for us to buy? :D

Edit: can you rename it to Manchester? :pumpkin:

Same thing as Chelsea, it will cool down in a year or so.
But their offers seem to be much bigger and not to mention those crazy wages.

How they started they will be even stronger than Chealse ever was.

    Silva to join them?

Who knows who will they sign. They want to offer 15mln/year for Kaka's wages.

And their offers are like 3x higher of the price.

Beh...As Vlatko said, it's just like Chelsea. Who will be able to tame all these stars they are buying? Mancini?

I'm a believer that UEFA should put a transfer limit on clubs across all of Europe.

The transfer amount should not go beyond 75 million per season (or some similar amount)

It doesn't matter if a club spends all that money on one player, or on 10 players, the transfer amount total should not exceed the limit. This should stop clubs from going on a inflation frenzy.

and to a lesser extent I want UEFA to ban the use of money generated from outside the club to be used for transfers. I don't fully know i this could be implemented well enough though.

Transfer limit sounds interesting but I don't think some clubs would accept something like that so I don't know if it'd affect UEFA's decision.

They are just too rich it's not even funny.

I don't know about a limit to transfer fees, but there should be some form of salary cap.

For instance, I think there is a limit in Rugby League that clubs cannot spend more than 60% of their turnover on wages.

I don't like whats happening, but I wouldn't be fussed if I were in a similar position as a Man City fan.

Transfer limits should come with wage limits.
