So the list of Donadoni...

Il ct dell'Italia Roberto Donadoni ha convocato 24 giocatori per le sfide con Lituania (il 2 settembre a Napoli) e Francia (il 6 a Parigi) valide per le qualificazioni agli Europei del 2008. Torna in nazionale Cassano.

Portieri: Abbiati (Torino), Amelia (Livorno), Buffon (Juventus).

Difensori: Barzagli (Palermo), Cannavaro (Real Madrid), Dainelli (Fiorentina), Grosso (Inter), Oddo (Lazio), Pasqual (Fiorentina), Zaccardo (Palermo), Zambrotta (Barcellona).

Centrocampisti: Ambrosini (Milan), De Rossi (Roma), Gattuso (Milan), Marchionni (Juventus), Perrotta (Roma), Pirlo (Milan), Semioli (Chievo).

Attaccanti: Bonazzoli (Sampdoria), Cassano (Real Madrid), Di Michele (Palermo), Gilardino (Milan), Inzaghi (Milan), Rocchi (Lazio).

Ok now i wanna know something...Is Nesta still injured? What about Materazzi? Will he play Canna-Barzagli? Hmm not bad seeing Marchionni in the NT. Camo out becose of his Form i think. And what about Maresca???
And what the hell is doing Cassano there???? Hey France will kick our ass!!! I really pray that this asshole will not play a 4-3-3...Why he has not picked up Chiellini for Dainelli? i dont know but i dont like Donadoni...

Luca Toni, Alessandro Del Piero, Francesco Totti and Vincenzo Iaquinta, all of whom are short of full match fitness. Marco Materazzi, who is serving a two-match ban for goading Zinedine Zidane into head-butting him in the World Cup final.

What kind of support is this? if you really consider Italia as "our" , you must have some faith in them.

and about Donadoni try giving him a chance before insulting the poor guy

Alessandro Nesta is injured and for the refs ......The Azzurri will take on Lithuania at Napoli’s Stadio San Paolo on Saturday evening, a match officiated by Swedish referee Hansson.

They then travel to Paris for the crunch tie with France on Wednesday and German referee Herbert Fandel has been assigned to what is sure to be a tense encounter between the World Cup Finalists.

Thank you Alex Ultra for the French info. I'm glad I don't have to look at Zidane during the game.

My question to all of you...should all Azzurri topics be posted on the Miscellaneous soccer forum? This IS an international game, in an international competition (Euros)...shouldn't it be in the International Forum? I can't seem to think of the Azzurri as "miscellaneous".

    Thanks,
    Sweetie
