tell that too "corious" george osman
Dammit. My mistake was instead telling that to Furious George Foreman...

Dule my friend, don't act like a child.I saw many pathetic moderations, bannings, insults, provocations but I did not think about leaving.

We are here for Juventus.Just focus on Juve, keep reporting, fuck everything else.
Kind of nails the main point why a lot of us are here, really.

mods suck. Down with mods, miserable bunch of no-lifers :D
I resemble that!

Hey, Tom. Nice to see you around these parts again. :D

Guys... just my 2¢.

These forums are at their worst when we get all gossipy about this member or that member. While forum members should be kept abreast of the rules and how they are being enforced, any issue with an individual is more of a personal matter and should be handled that way -- and not in some public forum or debate. This isn't a jury of peers before a court, or even the Mickey Mouse court of public opinion as in Calciopoli. This is between individuals, their behavior, and how the site owners/moderators deal with it.

Nothing wrong with being curious. Just that Andy's situation should really be Andy's business and the business of the site owners/mods...
After Tahir's, i was mostly expecting to hear your opinion, i m kind of disappointed.
Yes we know that you (mods) run the place and we dont have absolutely no right to argue/challenge your decisions.
A public drama cant help anyway, but we are talking about Andy here and the people had the right to know what is going on and why such an extreme decision (permanent ban) would take place. We are not the ones who will decide
and you dont have to ask us for that, but we had to know more about Andy's situation, because he is an important member and some people, as Dule would go as far, as to leave the forums, if Andy gets a permanent ban.

But this is not the reason i m disappointed by your post,
i do value your judgement very very much and you know that!
I wished that you come here and find a fair solution for this difficult matter.
And above all, i wish you would tell us your personal opinion about this!

Fair post. Thanks for putting your thoughtfulness into this.

Personally, I hate seeing the forums dominated by discussions about individuals rather than Juventus, football, TV, or other themes. We generally make it a point to close threads that merely discuss individuals. Dedication threads aside.

And of course, we are talking about Andy here. A guy I have Skyped, friended on Facebook and collaborated with there, etc., have countless conversations with here. I consider him one of my favorite posters here, and, while never having met the guy, I consider him an actual friend. It would be weird not being able to chat with the guy about Juventus, etc. -- even if it's just here.

But in years past as it is now, I've seen Andy go self-destructive on us and the people around him. A couple years he go he went off on a rant about how online connections are worthless, a complete joke, and spouted filthy insults at everyone (I believe myself included).

I kind of liken it to having a friend who also happens to be an alcoholic. That doesn't mean you have to kowtow to unacceptable behaviors because the guy is your friend. But if he's hurting others, if not you as well, you have to draw lines and boundaries and own up about what is acceptable and what isn't. And Andy has clearly, then as now, crossed that line. Some people would prefer to keep quiet if a friend of theirs ran over somebody while driving drunk, but I'm not that type. Being a friend and being held accountable are two different things.

As far as what my personal opinion is about Andy, I am sticking to my guns: that's between myself, Andy, the rest of the mods, and the site owners. If that's unacceptable to other posters and becomes reason for them to leave the site, so be it. You've made your choices and drawn your own lines about what's acceptable and what's not -- just as I would for myself. But nobody is going to make me change my standards to continue something under false presences.

If a friend of yours runs over a kid while driving drunk, that's between him, the kid, the kid's family, and the authorities. You're entitled to your opinion. But this isn't mob rule. Nor, and I mean with this all due respect, is it really any of your business -- just as I wouldn't air dirty laundry about you and your personal dealings, parading it about in front of an entire audience of people whose business it isn't either. It's not just about relevance, it's also about respecting personal privacy too, IMO. I can understand that you don't like it and want to know details, but Andy deserves some personal privacy too.

I don't want to go off-topic, but yes Andy is a quality poster. The one I banned several weeks ago, wasn't.

You try to disagree with him and it'll rain insults over your head. And then let me know If he had quality posts or not.

Anyway, Osman is spot on with his posts.

Alen or myself will clear things up in a while.
like I said, you are an Idiot. This is the only thing is left to tell you by my side.

I like Snoop and he knew his football, but what he wrote was mostly emotional and his posts often betrayed a severe lack of insight and understanding. He never wanted to understand what the other poster(s) meant and he had trouble clearifying his own points, hence he always came into conflict with others.

About Andy. Bring him back. He's a great poster as long as he sticks to seriously giving his persective on football matters, his attempts at humour are just embarassing.
You don't know what you are talking about, check my last 6 or 7 posts, and follow how azzurri7 was provoking me with his stupid quotes "Martin 1 - 0 rest of you" "Some people live in imaginary world", while I was having a serious debate with Martin, warned him not reply me, but he did go on, and he got "Idiot" from me for that, he is not the only one been called idiot in this forum, but I am probably the only member who got banned for calling someone an idiot.

I was expecting from you to back me on this, against this retard where both of us made fun of his "intelligence", way to go Dom! and yes, I might not have your English skill or others' as I admitted myself that English is my fourth language, and I can't put what I have in my mind in one post, it takes me 10 posts to show exactly what is my opinion, why is this being discussed anyway?? and I like you too..

I have already explained in depth why I think Rab was a poor choice and I have also already said that this was not a personal issue.
Agreed. Rab's a bit too emotional for being a mod. No offense of course.
Thanx! why the rest of you are afraid to say this?? isn't it obvious? he edits posts, deletes the ones that wins against him in debates, he bans people he doesn't like, why is he still a moderator for what he did against me? When most (all of them?) of the mods agreed that my ban was harsh, so why he isn't removed from his position?

I've been insulted way too much on xtratime now, not that I care, but I just need to make things clear, that Snoop wasn't banned because he called me an Idiot. And I didn't even ban him, he banned himself.

Also apart from that snoop knows what I think of him, though his arrogance shows when you disagree with him in football.

As for those whom tried to make the lame Del Piero jokes over there....try to make a better one. Even on xtratime he's number 1 fav Juventini. So I don't know what kind of silly connections some of you are trying to make.

Unless you people expect Juventus forums to be full of Totti and Maldini or Zanettifans than thats something else.

Anyway, again, what has been said about me on xtratime isn't really what happened or what I'm doing....just so i make that clear.
yeah right, I hacked your account and banned mine. and about discussing football with you, I already told you not to discuss football or politics with me, as it was the main issue between us, you agreed with that, but it seems you ignored that after becoming a mod, you know this time you have that power to ban me at the time we will "fight". Way to go Rab, good move enjoy the forums.

This is the reason I didn't want to post here, I didn't want to come here to defend myself for nothing as we know nothing will change, but the pressure here and in msn or xtratime made me write this.

I was writing here to have fun, what is told about me is true, I might not type quality posts all the time, that's because I am here to have fun with fellow Juventini or members I know for years, but if I will be provoked by a certain mod, and then get banned for replying him, then what is the point to stay here when no action is taken by other mods? This is getting on my nerves, I don't want an internet forum to piss me off, I want to have fun, to have a laugh and talk football at the same time.

Jack, I didn't discuss this with you on msn, because you know I don't want to take this issue out. You are my msn buddy, and I am fine with that, but if Azzurri7 is staying as a mod, there is no reason to break the agreement we made about my account.

I knew this was going to happen, that's why I said once to Alen (it wasn't only directed to him thou, but he took it personally, thou you are one of my favorite posters Alen and you know that) that mods should take it easy, and stop warning and closing threads every while. The warning system is all wrong, it's not nice to see Andy, Seven, Burke or others get banned for minor details, this was just a suggestion and advise, I don't have any problem with Alen or any other mod or any other member, that was just a suggestion..

now please close this account until I want to come back, I sometimes read this forums to get informed by the updates, I really don't feel like posting everytime my name is mentioned. I never said I wanted to leave forever, I just want not post here at these circumstances and please respect my decision for that.

What's the big deal? A guy breaks some rules or pisses off some mods, however you want to see it, gets banned (or not, I'm not quite sure) and that's that. If he has a problem, let him take it up with who's responsible. Why does everyone have to get involved and make a big drama?

I'm not saying I want Andy banned, because I don't, but this place sometimes has rules that seem to apply for some and not for others, because they are good posters, or because everyone likes them. Be consistent, if you ban people for racist remarks or opening provoking threads constantly, then always ban them. If you don't, then don't.

Now thats more than i hoped for!!!
I knew Greg was one of the most appropriate members here to speak about this matter, for many reasons...
The situation on Andy's front is very delicate and a tough decision is about to be made, i consider my self lucky for not being one of the ones entrust with the duty to take that hard decision.
I have faith in this mod team though!

I cant help than to express my admiration to swag's post, there is no reason for him to hide the truth or get intimidated,by any situation!
I ve heard enough in this thread!!
Now all that is left to hear is Jack's view (or final verdict)

Let me first point out that I wrote a slightly provocative post, as I had the feeling you were still reading the forums and I had to call you out:D.

I was talking about how you always tend to come into conflicts. But don't worry, when it comes to you vs Azzurri7, i'll always side with you. :xmas:

I was expecting from you to back me on this, against this retard where both of us made fun of his "intelligence", way to go Dom! and yes, I might not have your English skill or others' as I admitted myself that English is my fourth language, and I can't put what I have in my mind in one post, it takes me 10 posts to show exactly what is my opinion, why is this being discussed anyway?? and I like you too..
Well yes, and this makes it frustrating for both you and the others, who're discussing with you. Hence it adds to how you tend to get into conflicts.

Oh, so you're not coming back, Snoop.
Beh, you're being childish if you don't keep posting here.

Btw, i never took anything you told me personal. You thought i did and i was shocked when i saw that you kept repeating i took it personal.
Our little argument was about Ranieri, i don't think we ever argued over moderating.

Hey, Tom. Nice to see you around these parts again. :D
Fleeting visit, I was kinda hoping to come on, flame loads of threads and generally annoy you, but seems some people beat me to it :D

Nice to see you're still the voice of reason round here, hope things are well :)

He meant twenty - 3, from the ugly footballers thread dude.
Yea, and that douche started it all. Andy got warned, for responding, and Ze (the fascist) took shit too far. He's a terrible mod, and he warns people way too much. four out of my last five are from him. Now does that say that the other mods don't see my posts and just Ze does? Or is it more likely that other mods pass along and don't care, which they should, and Ze goes crazy over the smallest shit?

I think the latter is true....

    He blows....
I'd love to see the batcave, just once :p. See all the gossip in there.
I have, it's not that big of a deal.
