The Lamp Post - aka Peter Crouch (8 Viewers)

Peter Crouch needs to work on his timing of runs in the box. Watching him hjust stand in the box and get dominated by strong powerful defenders is halarious. He always gets called for fouls. It is like watching a basketball player fight muhammad ali or something. Just elbows and gayness everywhere until Ali drops him.

He has such an advantage yet wastes it so terribly. Trez dominates in the air with timing, class and precision. All things crouch does not have

He does have a smoking hot girlfriend but ... Trez has that too. :)

Seriously though if someone taught Crouch how a CF should act he would be a very good or at least effective player. Rafa does not know how to get the most out of forwards though. Midfielders yes ... forwards no

I hope we get Huntelaar ... or Gila

Crouch scored a hat trick against Arsenal earlier this year. Could have done with that in the Champions League Semi's last year when Trezeguet did absolutly nothing in the 2 games.

Crouch wouldn't have done anything either. It's not like that team was going to beat Arsenal when we couldn't even successfully work the ball up field.

one game isnt enough to judge a player mate...Baptista scored a super hatrick against Liverpool in the CC cup.But he's still one of the worst players i've had the misfortune of watching in an Arsenal shirt.

As far as I remember the keeper was at fault for those goals. Crouch scores good goals and is a decent playmaker. Not a first team play, but very good option to keep on the bench.

He has scored 10 goals IIRC both this season and last.that isnt good enough for a top team striker IMO,especially since he's mostly in the first team.

He has 17 goals from 30 starts this season for liverpool, Their top scorer, a lot better record than Kuyt and Bellamy WHO HAD MORE STARTS meaning crouch is 3rd choice! If he played every game he would have had a lot more goals and a lot more confidence. I'd rather him to Iaquinta of Zalayeta up front.

Yes, but those players will not start either and to pay a lot for a benchplayer is not really smart

He has more starts than Bellamy am pretty sure of that..

and i was talking about league goals.he has 9 .

I strongly disagree that he's better than Kuyt.Kuyt IMO is the only good striker Liverpool have. He's a hard worker and his link up play is much better than Crouch.
