then they can value my middle finger

you will probably hate me for this but I would sell if that bid was for real. I am a huge Trez fan and think he is one of the best finishers in the world .. as for Buffon .. he is incredible.

But that much money is too much for any 2 players. Also the fact is Trez is not indispensible for us with Amauri and Iaquinta in his poistion. The move would be good for both him (alot of $$$ and playing time) and for us ($$ and not selling to a direct rival). As for Buffon he is the best goalie in the world but we can get by almost as well without the best goalie in the world.. we simply need a good goalie. Manninger is not the solution over time but there are some very good goalies out there who could do a more than adequate job for us.

The money we get could buy us players that would not only make us strong right now but in the future. We could also use like 50m to pay off half of our stadium upfront which will help us alot over time.

just imagine bringing in Diego, Agger and Handanovic and paying off half a stadium by selling a 31 year old forward and a goalie who has injury problems.

Roma in pole for Podolski
Wednesday 7 January, 2009
Juventus are being tipped to challenge Roma for the signature of Lukas Podolski, but the German ace continues to flirt with the Giallorossi.

Podolski's days at Bayern Munich seem to be numbered after the arrival of USA international Landon Donovan and Croat Ivica Olic.

The 23-year-old has refused to commit his future to Die Roten and has hinted that he would welcome a move to Roma.

“I have heard that Roma are interested in me, but I have had no contact with the Giallorossi,” Podolski told Il Giornale.

“Francesco Totti is a great player and he showed incredible strength to come back for the 2006 World Cup after his injury.

“It really wouldn't be bad to play alongside Totti. An adventure in Italy would be nice and Luca Toni has always told me I would do well there and improve as a player.”

But Tuttosport claims that Juve are lining up a bid to snatch Podolski away from the Giallorossi.

The Old Lady would reportedly have no trouble meeting the required £8.5m fee and would like to bolster their attacking ranks.

i cant see trez or buffon wanting to wait another 2 years at least to play in the cl with man city, at this rate it could be another trip of de ja vu in the second division, however if it wasn't the case, call me old fashioned but i want an italian to take over buffon when he does eventually retire/leaves, as much as i rate handanovic there isn't really a true italian heir, other than amelia but im keen to see how fiorillo does, should the day arrives when he proves himself, then i would perhaps be a bit more reluctant to let gigi go. For trez well like gigi ive always said that those who stayed in serie B will always be immortalised by the fans, and im too attached to him, i know amauri is better in that he is more complete, but i prefer the luxury of both.

Bulgarian player Mario Kirev to be transferred to Juventus!

Slavia's goal-keeper Mario Kirev will be transferred to the Italian grand Juventus in several days time.

The two clubs have arranged all conditions for the transfer and it has to be finalized until January 15, Gong reports. The Whites' president Ventsislav Stefanov confirmed the good news.

As already reported, the young Slavia player spent a week of training in Torino's camp at the end of last year. The Bulgarian impressed Juventus management and the Italians expressed their desire to buy him in the winter transfer period.

For now it's not clear if the "Old Lady" will rely on Kirev for this season's matches or will be borrowed to another team until the edn of the Championship.

Another Slavia player, Nikolay Petrov, will also try his luck in Italy. He has received permittance from his club to look for another employer and has already arranged try-outs in Napolli and Salernitana.
