CORRIERE DELLO SPORT

Silva or Malouda to replace Nedved but there also is Babel, Van der Vaart, Joaquin and Zhirkov

Tuttosport

Arshavin for Iaquinta
Zhirkov will play Left back. Babel is utter shit. He cannot even get in to a liverpool side with average wingers like Riera, Pennant, benayoun. VDV would have been ideal, but let him rot at real madrid. Malouda:lol: Joaquin is a right winger. Silva is the only player on that list good enough to replace Nedved.

Zhirkov will not play as a left back

Babel is not utter shit

Malouda is not that bad

Joaquin can play on the left as well

We can only dream about Silva

Of course they will sell him!! Its the Real policy: Buy the best players in Europe, give them insane wages, give them 2-3 games to show what they know and if they dont perform in those 2-3 games send them on the bench along with the others and when the season ends, sell him (after totally fucking up his form)!!
you forgot to mention, that they also fuck up the players wage demands and wonder why the players they want to sell have difficulties to find a club, because no one wants to pay those wages and the players do not want to earn less!

you forgot to mention cassano in the fucked up list.

Can someone tell me just how poor/rich Juventus is?
It's all guess work.

We can't afford/aren't willing to match Real, Barca, Inter, Chelsea, Milan, Man Utd, Man City in terms of wages or transfer fees, but that is about it.

We will only get stronger, though, as we keep getting into the CL and slowly recover from Calciopoli.

Personally I think Arshavin is overrated.

He played few good games and it's like he's the "new maradona".Everybody heard of him this year and he's 27 years old.
:agree:

I remain sceptical that he is much more than a one season wonder. I certainly wouldn't wan't Juve to be the team to take that gamble.

Looks like Yaya is going to leave Barcelona and Arsenal is ready to pay 10mln euros.

We should step in(if we can).
I like Yaya Toure, but do we really need him?

Which of the central midfield players would you be looking to get rid of?

With our current players I think yes.We have a lot of players there but they are not that good.

Well,I think Zanetti. He did good for us but he's injury prone and now we're just wasting our wages on him.

For Yaya I'd probably also sell Poulsen.

Tiago could leave so I guess we'd need someone like him.

Fair enough.

My inclination would be to stick with what we have in centre midfield and focus on other areas that are in more urgent need of attention.

I know what you mean but if we sell Tiago/Poulsen and buy Yaya I think it'd be great.I think he would be one of the best signings.

But if we're not planning to sell any of our current center midfielders then there's no need for him.

Only Sissoko and to a lesser extent Marchisio, the rest of the central/defensive midfielders hardly string together 7-8 consecutive games. In my view, that portion of the team has not yet fufilled its full potential until all are fit and CR plays and confirm his most lethal two ...

The top priority is in no doubt, Neddy's replacement, can be a LM/LW if CR retain his current formation or a trequartista in a diff. formation. Whoever he is, he must be an impact player like Nedved that makes Juve menacing on paper and on the field.

The club's #1 target in the market should be to sign a playmaker ala Diego/Modric, if the club does this the other signings will take care of themselves.
Really?

So other top class players will negotiate a fee with their club and announce their very reasonable wage demands, then phone Juve to say they only want to play for Juve and that Secco just has to sign the dotted line?

You have a habit of over simplifying, but this is really taking the biscuit.

And whats your opinion about Yaya Toure?

I think he already said his yes about the possible transfer though.
fantastic player but not what we need just now, probably the only place we are overcovered
as for his transfer, he is exactly what arsenal need but the way his bro has been treated may make room for a rival

Edit:Afellay anyone?
i really like him but TBh have only seen a few games of him and i hear his consistency could be problematic

Zhirkov
Modric/Diego
Veloso

Is enough.

Arshavin in a swap for Iaquinta would be pointless, they don't even play in the same position.
yeah arshavin for iaquinta would be pointelss

but yeah replacing almost our whole midfield is not pointless at all:tup:
Is enough?

You mean we should buy all those players?
yeah and when he wins the CL on FM then he will tell us all he are stupid for doubting him

Finding the right replacement for Nedved is going to be very difficult. Pavel's has been ammense for the club, simply world class. Players of his ilk are very hard to find. Malouda, Zhirkov, Joaquin, Babel are not good enough in my opinon. The closest player to nedved in terms of style of play and perhaps ablity is Hamsik.

We are overcovered I agree but we should plan ahead as I said.

No one knows the destiny of Tiago.Zanetti is injury prone and no idea what to say about Poulsen.

Many people want Diego but they don't realise we can't play him in strict 4-4-2.It would have to be 4-3-1-2 and in that case we could use Yaya Toure. Not many players of his quality are availabe for that amout of money.

yeah and when he wins the CL on FM then he will tell us all he are stupid for doubting him
