The president have something to say:

Juve chief closes wallet
Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has declared that the Old Lady won't sign in January.

The Bianconeri are second in Serie A, six points behind Inter, after yesterday's 3-1 win over Atalanta.

A vast number of players have been linked with the Turin giants over the last few months to aid their Scudetto bid, but it now seems that they may stick with the men they have.

“We are second in the League and we have been doing really well lately,” Cobolli Gigli said on Sky Sport Italia.

“Furthermore we have been doing great things in the Champions League.

“We want to fight for the title and European glory, but we will be getting some great players, like David Trezeguet and Gigi Buffon, back from injury in January.

“Therefore we don't expect to buy or sell any players during the transfer window.

“Obviously Alessio Secco and Jean-Claude Blanc will have a look and make their own decisions.”

Juventus swoop for Tottenham's Luka Modric and West Ham's Valon Behrami

By Sunday Mirror Sport 21/12/2008

Claudio Ranieri is planning a double raid on the Premier League to bolster his squad for his return to Stamford Bridge.

Former Chelsea boss Ranieri heads to west London for the first time since owner Roman Abramovich dismissed him when his Juventus face the Blues in the Champions League. And the Tinkerman is desperate to inject some Premier League experience into his side. He is planning to offer Harry Redknapp a cash-plus-player deal in a bid to land Spurs playmaker Luka Modric.

Ranieri will offer striker Vincenzo Iaquinta as part-exchange. Modric could be joined in Turin by West Ham winger Valon Behrami.

Modric will make sense, he plays with both feet well, but also for IQ as he is our 5th striker, considering Gio's new position.

So is saying it's SUCKO'S fault but everybody keep saying that.

Looks like Real is going after Antonio Valencia...Is he any good in EPL?Fred?
I'm a big fan of his to be honest. I believe he is able to make that step up to a big team. I'm just not sure if he can handle the pressure. But he's got all you want in a winger. He's fast, he's one heck of a dribbler, good technique on the ball and he's got a cross on him too. Like i said, i'm a big fan of his.

I like the way Modric plays, I think he would bring a lot to this team. I saw that we are linking with Renato Augusto (link at bottom). Can anyone clarify Cobgli's article. how can he say Juve wont be spending but "obviously blank and secco will be looking around and seeing for themselves?" what the hell does that even mean? So blanc/secco can buy if they want, but not blanc?

I means that Gigli doen't think new signings are needed.

However, that may change if Secco and Blanc feel there is an urgent need to sign someone.

Overall, it gives nothing away, which is exactly how it should be.

Renato Augusto

Could of bought him for half of what he's worth now.

He's the guy(with Jô and I think some guy called Amaral) who impressed me the most for Brazil at that U-20 tournament over here.

Yeah, let's give Secco an extension.

Molinaro >>>>>>>>>>> one season wonder pasqual

People really need to stop disrespecting Molinaro and watch the game. Chiellini cost us more goals this season than Molinaro. The only thing wrong with Molinaro is he cross and he makes stupid passes from time to time. He can improve on that as he matures as a player.

P.S.
Im not saying this guy is amazing but he is better than what people here give him credit for.
thats right
