Dossena?:inter: average one hit wonder in Serie A, and his one hit wasn't even that good and supposedly dustbin material at Liverpool. Like a left sided, poor man's Maggio. Trust me, doubt he would be an improvement,

I think he is better than you make him out to be. He was voted the best LB in Serie A last season I think.

He is adjusting to a new league, a new country and prob had difficulty communicating with those around him. I think he will come good after a while. I would bring him here asap if we have a chance.

Same with Eboue.

Vargas was the best lb in the league last year and even he's sucking nowadays. If we decide to bring in an rb then it should be a real upgrade to Grygera not some fuckwit like Eboue but someone like Sagna or even Maggio. Talking about lbs, if Ranieri thinks Moli is better than DC it doesn't really take much to get an upgrade, so bring in anyone with two feet and a head. I still would urge us to sign Marino if we're ever to get these-kind-of-signings

Too many folk just criticise him for everything and never give praise on the occasions it is due.

There is a lack of objectivity. Not enough people treat each action on it's own merits and not just by sticking to their normal view of always praising (Lampard plus a few) or criticising (too many to mention) Ranieri, depending on their overall view of him.
but it is so much easier to simply basha nd call names than actually have an objective look at the management team and our current standing

Ranieri will sign a yet another DM this summer so he can 'fit' into his system. The guy is a loser.
what??i thought our transfer campaign was run by SUCKo;)

That is part of my point: There is plenty opportunity to legitimately criticise Ranieri, without picking on things that don't matter or weren't his fault.

I'm certainly no Ranieri lover.
me neither but i cannot sit by and read this dross over and over again

Diego is a fine player and all but he's regarded by most of you guys as some kind of saviour.Who says that he'll be a success? It's a huge gamble to splash the cash on a single player.Actually it's always a gamble but most players we sign aren't that expensive.

Diego came to Bremen and there weren't sky-high expectations after he failed at Porto. What will happen if he is under pressure because he is our most expensive signing of the season? Will he choke like Tiago did at the beginning? That would be one hell of an expensive choker.

And to tell you the truth I'd prefer our 4-4-2 with wingers rather than rely on a trequartista.I'd prefer to splash the cash on a great LM,whoever that might be.
we ahve not played with a trequartista since zidane and there is a very good reason for that, basically we fucking sucked! we were far too predictable and if we relied on diego to add the creativity we would find teams simply shutting him out and we would be devoid of ideas. i like the 4-4-2 with attacking wide players and full backs,we are solid right through the middle of the team forcing otehr teams to attack us down the wings where any ball into the box is easy meat for our defensive line and (when superman comes back) our keeper. add to that the strength, pace and power of saint giorgio and we have a very firm unit right now. yes i would like us to have more cut and thrust and a bit more dynamisism but we need to buy AM/wingers and FB's before we really need to ass a playmaker. we ahve doen very well with delpie as no10 and the future looks good with the little ant his heir apparant, now all we need is a little more thrust from teh wings and i believe an assault on inter beckons

Mirel Radoi is officialy on the transfer market it seems.

We want him along side with Milan.
Too good and expensive to be fourth choice CB, and really an upgrade to what we have in the starting positions?

Looked good in the 1½ game he played in the Euros. That's all I can tell about him.

If your saying your ok with Ranieri, then imo thats a serious lack of ambition.

To be completely fair to Ranieri, he's done a decent enough job with all the injuries he's had to cope with. But one cant help but think Ranieri sooner or later will fuck up, he's proven many times throughout his career, that he just isn't good enough to win a league. Why do you think that would change with Juve??
I do want a new coach after Ranieri's contact expires. But why can't I respect Ranieri, compliment him and congratulate him after all the decent job he has done, despite his mistakes?? What if I don't expect a Scudetto anyway in the next 2 years?? Does that make me a non-ambitional loser??

+1

as andy said...if gio who has skills and a power unseen on his age to create opportunities and loads of good passes has 90 minutes of playin in 5 months (and marchionni has his first 11 spot assured), than diego isn't for ranieri's juve. He said it, and that's what it will be, he won't change his 4-4-2 neither with regginas like teams. We must accept this, and speak about other players but no CAM's :(
What is so wrong with that?? Do you really think only an attacking midfielder will change us into the best team on the planet?? If so, then you are delusional.
