Gourcuff is an AM, but can also play CM/regista, as was what he did for the U-21 and Rennes. And yeah, if Ranieri wants him (or hopefully whoever our next seasons coach is...), I dont see any reason why he wouldnt have room in our team. Pavel is virtually finished, last season, and there is really only Giovinco to compete with in the whole team, non else. There oughta be room for sure, its not like we have the same quality AMs Milan have.

And screw the lame Zizou comparisons everyone gets, from toddlers to Nasri (who isnt even a playmaker really), just want to say he is the closest to that type of player we can get from France. And if Milan are foolish enough to want to sell him (Kaka will be in his way for a long while), then we should really pounce on him.

Gourcuff played behind the strikers at Rennes actually, i've never seen him play as a Regista. I feel it would probably restrict him.

Hype is a common thing, but I like to think I can judge some clear cases adequately enough, raved about Wilshere from seeing him before most Arse fans had and had time to hype him (I was cheekily accused of overrating him from some arse who hadnt seen him ). Similar with other rare 16 year olds in VDV in U-17 8 years ago(instant wow effect), C.Ronaldo and to a degree Pato. etc.

And my early verdict on this Ljajic kid is, defenitely got the similar X-factor quality, without any doubt (havent heard anything about him, but I wouldnt be suprised if lots of major clubs are seriously after him already). And thats that
