For our flat 4-4-2 :(, Capel is the ideal for the left side. He's a pure lefty, runs like hell and is a little battler. Our board loves freebies and he's one. What's even better is that he's only 20 years old.

Zebina has one foot into a retirement home so we need to look at the RB situation. Grygera is doing a good job but adding a guy who can start for us or be used in a rotation system with him is necessary. Lichtsteiner, Eboué or Rafinha would be ideal. Never saw Mattioni or Aguirregaray but if our scouts and Secco/Blanc think they're good...:scared:

The CB situation is complicated. Legro and Chiello are amazing. Mellberg is decent but we'll turn into meanlan if we don't get an up and coming star at that position to play next to Giorgio in the near future. Zapata, Ivanović, Subotić, Santacroce... should be all looked at. Anything less than that would be a mistake.

Completely agree, except we should get a left-back instead of worrying about the right-back position, BUT that isn't going to change since Molinaro just signed a new contract. Any of those CB reccomendations would be great, but we won't get them in January more likely in the summer if at all. Capel is indeed ideal, I would much rather get Capel on the free and use the wages on him rather than Schweinsteiger, it would add more than we have.

that's why I didn't say a new LB but maybe CR prefers De Ceglie at LM so we could buy another LB anyway. DC would be backup to our new LM. Anything is possible. boh!

Capel is a good player, better than schwingster, who is probbaly the most overated player in europe. He was awful against england and has been for bayern for the past two seasons, probably why they don't want to renew his contract. If we are going to play the flat 4-4-2 formation or 4-3-3, we need skilful young wingers with pace to burn, Capel would come under this bracket as would di maria. Fullbacks, a centre back and quality central midfielders should also be signed, if the club event want to think about the champions league and scudetto, otherwise be content with mediocrity.

Hopefully now people will stop asking why didn't we buy Huntelaar in the summer. Even alex'10.

but...but...we are juve surely we can but huntelaar for 40m, robinho for 50m and iker casillas as backup for buffon

if not our board are all cocksuckers;)
