I hear that Lyon want Gourcuff badly. Assuming that they will get +35m eur for Benzema, i believe they'll be financially just as powerful, or even more powerful, than we will in the summer and they will be ready to offer Milan the wanted price. They can also involve some players in the transfer (hopefully Boumsong :D).
Of course, if the options for Milan are sell him to Juve and sell him to Lyon, they will choose the French champs.

so wat? Edgar Davids was a Rossoneri, Pavel Nedved was a Laziale and Cannavaro was Interisti...doesn't really matter, it's the quality of the player that counts, don't be so narrow-minded...Amauri is leaps and bounds ahead of Huntelaar and all Biaconeri are VERY happy with his arrival...Palladino was crap and remains crap

btw, Welcome to Juventuz :p
yeah bring back bojinov!!! now!! :D ... he was my fav back in serie b! :D

If Gourcouff is reachable and if he can add something to the team, then I don't mind at all that he is/was a Milan player.
Zanetti and Canna were Inter players, didn't hear anyone complain about that once they were playing on their best, the same for when Abbiati was here to replace Buffon.

A players former club is forgotten soon when he is playing well for our team.

Juventus need to spend the cash on Frank Ribery. to replace nedved.. it will be as if Zizou came back to Juve...
:lol2:

Goo-cough, yeah. He is a Rosonerri and not welcome to the Zebras. All we needed was Huntelaar, cheaper for his age and goal-scoring. Palladino shd have stayed. Marchisio is fantastic, but what of GIO, the atomic ant. He is great. We could also look at Ben Arfa.
:disagree: What a bunch of gibberish. Everything you just said is false.

i don't know what this gourcouff gibberish is all about.

he already got a few chances at milan and did not make it ... now in a weaker league he flourishes ... what does this tell us ?

he will not get more chances with us than he had with milan and i really don't see a reason he should be better for us than for milan.

to freshen up your memories ... milan thought the same when they bought him "hey he is cool in the french league ... lets try him" ...

Damn, I hope they go for an alternative and leave him for us; but it's more likely that we do that.

You may be right but there is also a big chance that you're wrong.
As mentioned, it was tough for a 20yo kid to find space in the team that had Kaka, Seedorf and Pirlo in midfield. Team that eventually won the CL that year.
The next year it was even tougher for the kid. Ancelotti seemed to stick to the same midfield, no matter how awful Pirlo and Seedorf played.
Of course, when given a chance (which usually happened in the last 10-15 minutes of the match), Gourcuff didn't take it, but you will agree that apart from lack of playing time, the problem was also psychological at this point.

I think Gourcuff can be a very good player not just because he's great with Bordaux but because he is the best player of the French NT in these qualifiers for the WC.
I only saw him against Serbia where he was amazing and a clear MOtM, but i hear that he was just as amazing on all the other matches he played for France.

Milan, or to be more precise, Ancelotti, had absolutely no patience with Gourcuff. Someone who was 19-21 needed a lot more faith.
Domenech had faith in Gourcuff and he flourished with the French NT and in the league.
He has shown to the world that he's extremely talented and he has huge potential. He is already one of the best players in the French NT.
It's up to the coach of the next big club Gourcuff will go to, to show a little more faith, and the boy will pay him back.

Kinda reminds me of a certain young player we have in our squad right now.

Not all players are impact players, not everyone can come off the bench and have a great game. And most of the players will tell you it's harder to come from the bench than play from the beginning.

We all followed Milan during those 2 years Gourcuff played there. We all saw how many minutes he played on these 36 matches.

I checked Acmilan.com for last year's stats and this is what i got. He played only on 15 matches in serie A :

1. Genoa-Milan 0:3. Gourcuff played from minute 82 till minute 90 (8 minutes)
2. Siena-Milan 1:1 Gourcuff played full match (90 minutes)
3. Lazio-Milan 1:5 Gourcuff played from minute 84 till minute 90 ( 6 minutes)
4. Milan-Empoli 0:1 Gourcuff played from 65-90 (25 minutes)
5. Sampdoria-Milan 0:5 Gourcuff played from 67-90 (23 minutes)
6. Milan-Torino 0:0 Gourcuff played from 79-90 (11 minutes)
7. Milan-Napoli 5:2 Gourcuff played from 80-90 (10 minutes)
8. Atalanta-Milan 2:1 Gourcuff played from 83-90 (7 minutes)
9. Reggina-Milan 0:1 Gourcuff played from 83-90 (7 minutes)
10.Milan-Livorno 1:1 Gourcuff played full match (90 minutes)
11.Milan-Palermo 2:1 Gourcuff played from 47-90 (43 minutes)
12.Milan-Lazio 1:1 Gourcuff played full match (90 minutes)
13.Empoli-Milan 1:3 Gourcuff played from minute 1-45 (45 minutes)
14.Milan-Cagliari 3:1 Gourcuff played from minute 75-90 (15 minutes)
15.Milan-Reggina 5:1 Gourcuff played from minute 80-90 (10 minutes)

Here you can check last season and the previous season: http://www.acmilan.com/infoPage.aspx?id=51068
--------

As you can see, he wasn't really given a chance. He started only 4 matches and he played total of 480 minutes (equals ~5 full matches).
In CL he was getting even less chances and in Coppa Milan were always eliminated in the first round so he wasn't getting any chances there either.

no it wouldn't it would be as if ribery came to juve which he wont. ribery is not the answer, you make it sound like juve are sugar daddies and we can attract anyone we want, welcome to reality, we cant. and neither am i sure that ribery is that keen on leaving bayern.
