Talk about overrating Napoli. So if they arent a midtable club, what are they? A top club?

And the table after 13 rounds matter for little, Lazio, Udinese, Catania are on our ass too, and that doesnt make them top clubs. Neither does Hull City being so high up after 15 rounds in EPL.

They have ambition, but as their president says, slow down, they are building to become a more established club over a period of 5 years, they are nothing more then a midtable Uefa Cup team (a cup they went out immediately this season).

They dont have the funds and salary budget to keep players aspiring for more. They might keep them for a season or two longer while occasionally raising the salary, on the promise of growing as a team, but when big clubs comes knocking for Lavezzi, Hamsik and et al, the players will defenitely want to venture on for more.

Its erronous to somehow think Napoli is the only club who have had these kind of ambitions and been in this stage as a club. Many mid table clubs have had aspirations for more, had talented players, only to lose them to the top clubs because they cant compete that allure.

far too early to call them a top club, midtable is their minimal target but ideally uefa cup is their pinnacle

As for schweinsteiger, i wonder why nobody ever mentions that his preferred side is on the right. He's right-footed if i remember correctly and i haven't seen him in the Neddy-position so far. In the NT, he gets to play on the left, but at bayern, i think he stays clearly on the right. Maybe burke can give further infos. What i would like to know is if burke would want to keep him at bayern. :)
in fact i already mentioned that he can not take pavels position, because he is not able to cross with his left feet ... all he can do with it is stand on it while shooting.

i guess in FM database schweinsteiger is able to use both feet or they have no attribute to tell if a player can cross with his left ...

as good as hamsik might look, everybody does seem to forget how different the performance can be, when playing for another team where the ball is not always given to the player (because he is not the star of the team anymore)

many balls will go to camo, because everybody knows what he can do and this can lead to overeagerness that did not only serve palladino bad, while trying to manifest a spot in the first eleven...

I'm with Dušan on this one if Hamšík comes onto the market we have got to do everything to sign him, it's a must buy, and the board should give a fuck how much the English cunts offer, we must be an option at minimum.

D'Agostino hey? He's been playing very well this year but so as Floro Flores. I was impressed by his play this year but we need a better and proven player to control the offense part in our mid. D'Agostino will just be a little faster Liverani.

We're also linked with Zaccardo? Guy can't even make it with Wolfsburg. We need quality defenders.

i reckon we might change formation once nedved retires due to lack of quality replacements. Ranieri doesnt fancy giovinco as a left midfielder. Could be 4-3-3 with giovinco and DP as supports to amauri, and them camo (or maybe diego?) as attacking mid.

p.s. lets get grosso

i wouldnt pay more than 10 mill euros for hamsik, like i said hes a little too overrated for me, good player for napoli no doubt about it, but he has had some bad games for them, and for what napoli are asking for, we can do alot better for that money, someone who actually plays at a consistent level and for a big club

d'agostino = no thanks, like roma, he will have a good season this year and wont hear from him again for another 4 years, besides we can do better, far better. sick of mediocre crap

zaccardo - i think im just gona jump off a bridge, he couldnt even make it at palermo let alone wolfsburg, the one good season i remember zaccardo having was back in his bologna days, rather we ressurected birindelli from the dead

We may well try to change shape post-Nedved.

However, we would need to invest in some very good full backs because it would be up to them to provide the width in such a system.

the best thing IMO about Hamsik is his knack of getting into goalscoring positions...very Lampard-esque...but does he offer that cutting edge in the middle pf the park, the ability to deliver that killer ball to the FWs? I'm not so sure...and if Napoli are expecting more than 15-20 Mil. Euros in the current economic climate, they can go choke on a garbage bag

Forget about Hamisk for a moment.

Can we get Moutinho please?

And no, I am not basing this on his FM stats.
moutinho? hes nothing special. bag of pace and no end product, thats something we cant afford to risk in a league like the italian. no thanks.

besides moutinho is not rated any higher than hamsik, and has far less to offer than hamsik

We should throw in a big bid for Xavi. He is awesome and would be perfect for us.

Maybe Barca would be interested in taking Tiago and cash? Or Iaquinta..
Xavi is Catalan. Barca would never sell him for that alone, and he happens to be good too.

Plus he's played for Barca all his life, and he's a product of their youth academy. I doubt he would leave them ever unless they kick him out.

well i just read he rejected the deal they offered. Barca would not sell him to another Liga team for sure. But if he wanted to go abroad they would not stop him. I think we have a decent chance of getting him if he does want to try another league. Ranieri is familiar to Spanish players and he would be assured as starting spot and a nice salary here.

Elano would be a great buy and is really falling out at Man City. We could probably get a bargain on him seeing how Man City don't really need cash. He is a very decisive player and would be just what we are looking for.

Probably more realistic than Xavi and Aquilani too.
