If i'm not wrong the original deal was done by Moggi but it's true that our new board could have easily ignored the verbal agreement between Moggi and Brazzo.
Instead we decided to go on with this transfer and we signed him half a year after Calciopoli, in January 2007 (he joined us in June, after his contract with Bayern expired), with the conditions agreed between Moggi and Salihamidzic's agent.

I guess back then, while we were in serie B, a free agent with a successful career behind him, wanted by the big Luciano and wanted probably even by Deschamps who was our coach in January 2007, seemed like a good deal.

I agree that it's way too much to give such high wages to a 30 year old, who was obviously in decline. Those were tough times and tough decisions, some of them out of desperation, had to be made. Most of them, this one included, turned out to be wrong decisions.
No, Brazzo deal was done by Secco
Moggi is sacked and punished in the mid 2006 when there is Calciopoli and we went to Serie B
Then there is Blanc, Gigli, and Secco since August 2006
Brazzo deal is on January 2007 when Secco in task
This is another craziness by Secco (offering long term contract to old player with high salary)

I don't understand why our shareholder never understand by how their money invested being wasted by our management...
Like Tiago, Almiron, Andrade transfer and wages...so Brazzo wages
Also not to sell Zebina which has high wages (around 2 mill Euros) but not with great contribution

i can agree with you guys if you hate Molinaro or Almiron or Tiago etc
but dont start bitching about all the players that Secco brought
Sali doesnt perform as you wud expect but he was never world class
he is just a useful team player.the fact that he keeps changing positions doesnt help him to improve his performances....just wait till the end of the season to just him

I don't particulary want this player but I want to rate him before anyone else does.. Salvatore Bocchetti from Italian Olympic team, he plays as a CB & is a strong young fellow who's quick to react.. Signed with Genoa, he's yet to play Serie A football but nonetheless IMO he is one to look out for this year in Serie A

Honduras was not the first time I've seen him play as I follow the Azzurrini but in saying that I've only ever seen Bocchetti in action a whole 3 games but nonetheless I like the look of him
if anyone is showing promising signs at a young age i say sign them, train them into Juve material and let them prove themselves.
He would have been having to keep up with de ceglie and giovinco too ;)
