Fred, do you know Mevlüt Erdinç from Sochaux?
I dont watch much of Sochaux to be honest, but he has seemed like a decent player everytime i saw him. He's rather fast, and he's a good finisher. From what i've heard he's been a revelation for Sochaux this season along with N'Daw.

What a coincidence, me too
Screw you, this is what i was talking about in the movies thread :faq2:

Newcastle are in the hunt to sign Argentine star Pablo Aimar after his club Real Zaragoza put him up for sale for £6.5m. (Daily Mirror)

Ok, if this is legit we must consider Aimar at this price.

Just a thought
It is being said now that Barca upped their interest in Trez
it would be nice if we sell him and get Gomis instead as Trez isn`t getting any younger and Gomis will be much better as the time goes by
What do you think?

Gomis is going to be very very good in the future, but I don't think its in our best interest to sell David right now.
You might be right but this is the time to cash in on him as later his price will drop severely

by the way I think Gomis is going to be the top scorer of the european championship

I also think Fenin is going to surprise

In terms of player turnover and financial issues it would make complete sense but i just can't see Trez leaving, simply put he's just too much of a f'n legend

I'm agree. I don't want to sacrifice Trez for Benzenma! Trez is 30 and he will score atlaest 35~40 goals in next two years!

But Benzenma, Huntelaar and Van Der Vart are 3 most promising players in Europe! IMO.

IMO all 3 are past the promising stage.. I might be crazy but i think Huntelaar is the best striker (not attacker) in world football at the moment

I Agree! But they are still young. And Huntelaar is great. Realy Great Player. I have seen some of his games and goals. Another star from Ajax production!

He is mix of Trezeguet and Van Nistelroy! IMO.

He isn't an Ajax product, he actually is a PSV youth product, bought by Ajax 2,5 years ago. But I agree with Gazzo here, he is one hell of a finisher, among the best in the world.
If Trez is sold to Barca, I can only imagine Huntelaar as a decent successor.

Huntellar has similar style to Van Nistelrooy while Gomis has a more similar style to Drogba
the first one is based more on positioning and timing even tough he is one of the best finishers in the world
the second one is a more poweful player with great shots outside of the area while he also knows how to finish it in the box very well

what are their ages?

Huntelaar has a very powerfull shot aswell, demonstrated in a number of free kicks he took. He really blasts them straight on goal.
