Good player. Definitely better than Molinaro.
Gobbi was pretty good today, unlucky for fiorentina they didnt deserve to lose.
Gobbi did his fair share for Fiorentina this season. He's as good as he'll ever get. I thought he had the potential back in Cagliari. But I guess he has reached his threshold of his capabilities. He will be just any ordinary player IMO. Not really young. Neither exceptional.

Unless we are getting him to improve our depth, he will never be up for our 1st team especially when we are gunning for our deeply missed powerhouse status. Gobbi would do good to replace Gattuso in Milan next season.

True that Ujfalusi is much better than Gamberini.
Thank you, mates. :martini:

Gobbi isn't a bad player. He has impressed regularly this season. He scored a goal against us:D

Still, I wouldn't pick him over Evra, Grosso, or Vargas. Perhaps if we fail to get one of these three, he would be a good option.

Montolivo is an awesome player for sure, i would love to buy him or Aquilani. And once again i will reiterate, Montolivo's gangsta celebration of "brushing his shouldas off" was an epic win.

I'm glad everyone is starting to see the magic of Montolivo the pimp.

IMO, Ujfalusi is kinda like Nesta in terms of playing style while Gamberini is like Cannavaro. Ujfalusi is the technical one who can control the ball, take it out of defence. Gamberini the powerful one who has a great leap, strong in the air, but is positionally aware and wouldn't have to make desperate tackles, and he is very composed.

Either would be great for Juve, Gamberini is younger, but Ujfalusi might be the leader we need in defence.

Didn't know he was a winger at the start of the season. Interesting. Well, I know Eboue hasn't been spectacular for Arsenal in midfield but I'm sure Evra's style is more suited for the wings than Eboue. Evra can play in both positions but I still believe he's more suited to being a winger. He's skillfull, he's quick, he has excellent crossing. What more can you want from a winger?
Eboue is more skillful than evra though, if Eboue didnt work in midfield evra would never work.

That being said though, evra is better than eboue in every other department.

I strongly disagree there, i think technique is very important for a winger, thats why the best wingers in the world are Ronaldo, Ribery and Robben. Speed is definitely necessary but its not the most important thing imo.

Yes, but speed is something every good winger has while technique isn't. Many wingers aren't very gifted technically but are extremely fast. Ofcourse, technique is important but not as important as speed IMO.

A player like Del piero for example will always struggle on the wings because of lack of speed although Alex is a very technical player. When it comes to wingers, speed comes first, everything else comes second.

Like i said speed is necessary, but without technique you really cant be a good winger. We'll have to a agree to disagree on which is more important though.
